STUHILL Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact he's not going to sign again. If it happen, then happy days, but I'm expecting it not to. I must admit, the longer it drags on, the more I start to think we should want people who really want to play for us. He obviously has lots to think about with family etc but he has had a nice long break and seems like we put an offer on the table very early on, so is getting bit annoying not knowing either way. Perhaps the Manager change has delayed his decision even more. Who knows, but be good to get an answer soon!

I heard Mourinho recommended to him join us due to the management team of Pearson, Shakespear and Walsh mainly due to his friendship with Walsh I think

I have no idea but I know he was looking for a Prem club and London was prefered choice and possibly why he took while to sign with us last season after exploring other options in the Prem, if any.

Jace Posted 5 July 2015 Posted 5 July 2015 Im beginning to think Pearson going might not have such a negative impact on this I reckon now Cambiasso is probably more likely to be offered a better deal on an extension, would have expected more rumours of Esteban going elsewhere by now which hasn't happened
