gurru991 Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 I think we are placing to much value on the captains armband, It won't protect Wes & it won't entice Cambiasso back. Leaders will always lead regardless of title.
NewquayFox Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 He's back from his break this week so all will be revealed, can we start this thread again..... Up the City......
Guest LCFC_World Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 No news on Cambiasso no news on new manager.. the two most important things at the moment!
SpacedX Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Not really changed what I said though did you? Which actually makes it even worse if you consider flagrant favouritism over performance such a trivial issue.

TheMightySystem Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Again? How many breaks can someone have within a 7 week break? When its Cambiasso he can have infinite breaks
Ed25 Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 The Sun says he is set for 'showdown' talks this week. It's on Sky Sports paper talk
Bagworthblue Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 yyou know something - I love the guy but am a bit disappointed in him. it took him some time to get started last season through missing pre-season and even if he ultimately decides to leave, he still needs to be fit and could have joined the lads whilst he sorts his future - oh well

I think he'd be in Austria with the team right now if the club hadnt axed Nigel.

Fox92 Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Didn't take him anytime... He came on half time at Stoke away and had such an influence on the game.
st albans fox Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Imagine how good he would have been WITH a pre season!
queensguardfox Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Imagine how good he would have been WITH a pre season! I imagine 1000x better with a Leicester Pre-season in him, because all the champions league games, international games , cup finals would be nothing compared to a Football camp in Austria with NP and Shakey and Walshy.
nnfox Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Did Cambiasso get on with Pearson? I seem to remember an interview with him regarding seeing out a game and how we didn't know how to do it. It was an observation of the English game but I wonder if he just meant us. Perhaps he was like "It's me or him, replace him with someone better and I'll stay - I need to see your ambition". I haven't seen him quoted as saying that Pearson was the best manager he's ever had.

I haven't seen him quoted as saying that Pearson was the best manager he's ever had. He made a reference to the rest of the squad, not Pearson. At Spurs when we equalised to make it 2-2, Cambiasso commented that we celebrated like we won the World Cup and ran around uncontrollably.
NewquayFox Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Phewwwww!!! He's in with a one year extension at last........ Up the City.......

Stevosevic Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Never heard Esteban compliment Nigel in an interview - I'm sure at times he would have thought Pearson's decisions or techniques were baffling considering the managers he has worked with previously
