Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 2 July 2015 Posted 2 July 2015 We'll never know, but if Cambiasso decides not to stay and NP not being here is a factor in him not signing again, the owners will look ****ing stupid. The timing of NP departure was odd as it is, but considering the Esteban issue it looks like they need to be sectioned. And don't say 'well Deano has signed on...' - no disrespect, different ball game. With no Cambiasso, our central midfield looks incredibly lightweight, lack any experience, guile, craft, quality etc etc. Nevermind being linked with Lenny, get him back as a player. **** it, offer Cambiasso player-manager. However, I wonder if he'd if Hiddink was unveiled? All this isn't great for my bloody pressure.
Wymsey Posted 2 July 2015 Posted 2 July 2015 Thank you for my time at your club. , alright Indy Kalia...

Jace Posted 2 July 2015 Posted 2 July 2015 At Leicester? edit: ignore me, I misread More like not interested in Leicester full stop
inckley fox Posted 2 July 2015 Posted 2 July 2015 Cambiasso' s brother says he isn't interested in being a coach (at the moment) Do you have a link to the interview?
TheSomersetFox Posted 2 July 2015 Posted 2 July 2015 i know nothing's been confirmed yet, but if he does go along with Nigel then it probably makes last season even more special. We were so lucky
Bagworthblue Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 i am starting to think this may well still happen. Didn't Rudkin say it has been a difficult negotiation. I think even I have put too many halos on Cambiasso - His brother says he wants to play not coach. I still think he is a sound bloke that puts in 100% to earn his salary but I also think he has looked to negotiate the best deal possible. Whilst the Pearson link is important, I think the money is of interest to him to an extent and he is a loyal type of fellow who hasn't really moved much of his own accord in his career. This combined with Toffee stating he had agreed new terms suggests to me once the new manager is in place, he will have a chat to see if he is still wanted and ensure he can work with the new gaffer and then will sign. May be wrong but we will all see in time I suppose
inckley fox Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 Thanks for that, he's fairly insistent isn't he? But he doesn't rule out him staying at City at all, and I suppose 'entrenador' is the word they tend to use for manager, think they tend to say 'coach' or 'trainer' for coaches, so I suppose that isn't quite so emphatically discounted!
Jace Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 I wouldn't rule it out but he's a smart guy and he will want to know who he's playing for unfortunately we might not give him a choice in time
thybluefox Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact he's not going to sign again. If it happen, then happy days, but I'm expecting it not to.
Claridge Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact he's not going to sign again. If it happen, then happy days, but I'm expecting it not to. Wish he would stop pissing the fans about to be honest. Yes or no? It isn't that difficult. He must know if he wants to stay in Leicester or not
Bagworthblue Posted 3 July 2015 Posted 3 July 2015 I can tell you now - he will know exactly what is happening - Rudkin (not Pearson) will have been in contact all summer and he probably knows the score with Hiddink. The change may have caused him to think gain but it's not just Pearson that loved him, it's the whole club and fans and I imagine this whole affair has just delayed him either signing or walking away. Rudkin said the negotiations have been complex - We just need to be patient now - I don't think we should be resigned to him leaving yet
