Rincewind Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 West Ham (A) to be on TV, Millwall play Coventry at home on the same day and I can see them moving our game rather than a league 1 game! fine by me if it is. Will be in a Yorkshire pub wearing my City shirt. Doubt there will be any Hammers fans there. Unless it is on a Monday of course which is the day I travel back and also my poker night.

Usually with a bald head, dressed in shorts with a calf tattoo, shouting "come on your Irons" in an extremely annoying way.
jrocky1998 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 COME ON LEICESTER!!! We can win this easy. Can't wait for the season to start it's gonna be a long wait
ramadaone Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Am I right in thinking there are no fixtures for anyone over Easter ?
Jimothy Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Am I right in thinking there are no fixtures for anyone over Easter ? Looks like it's an international weekend. Netherlands are playing France, so I'm guessing everyone will have games.
Jattdogg Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 December and February look like tough months because the top sides will or should be in full form by then. Would rather play them earlier but this could be a blessing in disguise for us. I can see how playing the extra champ league game could tire them out and in December anything can happen. No second season syndrome here. Im looking forward to slapping united around again.
Kitchandro Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Having said all that about the tough fixtures in December and at the end of the season, we performed much better in those sorts of games last season, so maybe not as ominous as it looks.
ian_marshall Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Don't think the fixtures are too bad. Difficult last couple of games but 4 of the last 7 are at home so with winnable games scheduled. Do agree with others though that ideally we need to have secured safety early doors.

From the 5 fixtures in December and last 3 this coming season we got a grand total of 3 points last season. I can't believe how many of the fixtures are within about a month of the same fixture last year, particularly those at the back end.
joshjana10 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 new member here....living in bournemouth and loving the fixture at end of august!!!!! my boys coming to town on bank holiday weekend!! what more could i ask for? 3 points i guess. season starts today! COYB
fuchsntf Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 No predictions, results of last season should of warned off the over zealous, the pessimistic, and over the top optimists, but it wont have. The ball rolls again, the dreams, hopes and fears start all over again, no more than those 1st steps onto the terraces. The opening of the season fixture lists brings it all back to life, but with nearly 2 months to go, wets the lips of all the supporters, giving them enough time to anayse and predict their clubs, momentums, slumps and successes. For me, I will chill, enjoy all games and their individual moments with the twists and turns they will definitly bring. Wait until March before I analyse our season, and possibilties... Then again.........cos I luv foxes forum, I will enjoy dipping into the posts and leave, witty, weird, crazy, tut-tuts, mardy, thoughtful, high/low, cursing, caustic ....replies behind. Who's going to be 1st to cancel their summer hols, to far climes and book a week into a Bournemouth B+B, or 1st class luxury.
Rincewind Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 If I had not already booked a weekend away a fortnight before I would have considered it. May have struggled to get a ticket though unless I could have asked the B&B to reserve one. Thats an idea for you. Ask if the digs includes a ticket.
stox259 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Can't believe there is not a Sunderland (h) match day thread yet!
MC Prussian Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Pearson out... ... in training on Belvoir Drive with the lads in a week or two.
Corky Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Not necessarily a good thing. Europa league participants league record after a Thursday night game is less than desirable for some reason. Not relevant to this quote but I would bet good Money our home fixture versus United is a sky game. They'll be all over it after last season. I meant in terms of matches not being shoved to early Sunday kick-offs.
Rincewind Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Can't believe there is not a Sunderland (h) match day thread yet! There are about half a dozen people hovering over their keyboards with itchy fingers debating with themselves as to when would be the perfect opputune moment to type in the immortal words 'Sunderland (h) match day thread' and have their name go down in FoxesTalk history as the poster who was the first to post a matchday thread for the 2015/16 season. Such fame cannot be overlooked and will be a fascinating conversation piece at dinner parties or opening line on Tinder.
smudger63 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 The big lesson we have hopefully learnt from this season, is that there is nothing to fear from anyone else in this league. Of course the Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd games are tough, and anything we get out of those games is a bonus, but i think we showed at the end of last season, that if we go out on the front foot and without fear, that we are capable of beating pretty much anyone else on our day.
Master Fox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Potential title decider for us last game away at Chelsea. Could be an epic away day going there to win the league. Scenes
desertfox2 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Complete opposite to last season. Supposedly easy start, tough finish and tough December. Great chance to get some early points on the board
nothin2seehere Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Go to https://www.google.com/calendar Click "Other calendars", midway down on the left hand side, click "Browse interesting calendars">"Sports">"Football">"English Premier League">then select "Subscribe" on the right hand side inline with Leicester. It will then add the calendar to your calendar. If you need help syncing to Android PM me. Now you've done it! Hah. Seriously, how a list of football games can be copyrighted is beyond me. I can type here "Leicester vs Liverpool" and is that against the rules (not FT rules, but Premier League)? What if I also type in "West Ham vs Norwich". It's just letters. Just because I didn't use a computer to generate a list of **** teams it's ok.
nnfox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Disappointing draw this. I was really hoping to avoid Chelsea, Man C, Man U and Arsenal but looks like we've got them all. Twice! Gonna be a tough season

From the wikipedia about the laws, they say that you can do individual matches, and I think portions of the fixtures, but not the whole. Which is why I think we can get away with posting several matches at a time and talk about a difficult run in etc.I am sure it takes the organisers quite a lot of effort to click enter on the computer programme that generates the schedule.

sdb Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Like the look of our opening games. If we can get the squad sorted for August we could really make a positive start. December looks tricky and we deffo do not want to go to Chelsea last day needing anything. I'm sure all that's been said already!
