bovril Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Di Matteo could be realistic. Has unfinished business in the prem. Yes, that relegation at WBA he was cruelly denied.
VLC86 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Get it done Top Worth a punt compared to the other shite that is on that list.
NeilLCFC Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Judging by the previous managers these people have appointed, I must say I'm more then slightly worried!
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Judging by the previous managers these people have appointed, I must say I'm more then slightly worried! Nigel Pearson?
Vossen Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Frank De Boer from Ajax...Top Manager, Speaks English well, as well as French German & Dutch...
dylanlegend Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Big Sam is surely the only viable option. I've always liked him and we'd have a great chance of staying up if he was in charge. Very similar to Nige and I think he's more adaptive to different styles of play than people think. It does mean we will probably sign Nolan and Carroll though
artursteppe Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I always liked Di Matteo. Of the overseas choices, probably Klopp would be best, but unlikely so Di Matteo or Laudrop could be OK. Home grown managers? Moyes, but unlikely so Neil Lennon by a country mile. Yes he would be new to the Prem, but has a solid background, is more intelligent than Pearson and is ahead of the Pearson we had twelve months ago. He has pashun and we know him!
jimmeh Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Di matteo has a house in Leamington Spa which isn't far from Leicester. Champions league winner. Attractive football. I think he ticks all the boxes for the owners
Gerard Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Di matteo has a house in Leamington Spa which isn't far from Leicester. Champions league winner. Attractive football. I think he ticks all the boxes for the owners Horrible choice. Fluked a Champion League win from the semi final onwards and has failed everywhere he's been since. I hope the club don't fall for his age and CV.
berniethebolt Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I’d be happy with Van Basten, Laudrup or Di-Matteo – all three have had a pretty successful spell at managing at club level and carry a lot of respect in the game. Could any of them be tempted though?

Yes he would be new to the Prem, but has a solid background, is more intelligent than Pearson and is ahead of the Pearson we had twelve months ago. He has pashun and we know him! What? Explain, because the last I saw, Pearson had just led us to the Premier League as Champions with 100+ points, and Lennon was jobless. Since then, Pearson has led us to safety in our first season back in the Prem, while Lennon led Bolton to an underwhelming 18th in the Championship.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 John Carver is available. Best coach in the league
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 please stop saying Klopp, you might as well throw in Wenger and Mourinho
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I can see it being someone like di matteo or Karanka. Possibly with Esteban involved on coaching side
Guest seanfox778 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Out of everyone realistically available I wouldn't mind Big Sam but according to Sky Sports he's turned down an approach from us. We're right in the s*** now. The names we're being linked with are so depressing. Can't believe Lennon is one of the favourites. I thought we could really go places under Pearson, this is all so frustrating. I never imagined players like Vardy leaving under Pearson but now I'm worried that his head could be turned.
bovril Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Don't say j*** c***** any more, he might appear If you look in a mirror and say John Carver five times, he appears.
bovril Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Have a feeling Hiddink will be Sven all over again Why, cos he's foreign? Chelsea fans were disappointed he wasn't kept on.
thybluefox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Hiddink has just had a poor spell with Holland but his record before that is excellent.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Hiddink has just had a poor spell with Holland but his record before that is excellent. end of season do in Amsterdam, what could possibly go wrong
cityfanlee23 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 De Boer would be a good shout, Dutch based managers tend to do well when moving clubs, their style of play suits the division well, and they are usually good with finances and bringing youth through. Take him.
Beliall Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 If you look in a mirror and say John Carver five times, he appears. Shit, that's 4
thybluefox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Talking about Klopp (), Hiddink and De Boer. you all know we'll end up with Lambert or Redknapp.
