Kasabian Pull No Punches

Recommended Posts

Ahh yes that does ring a bell  :D

I'm sure Matt Mills would have a pop too if he was able to mention Pearsons name without filling his nappy.

Matt Mills did have a pop if I remember rightly. He said that Pearson wasn't an open door type manager and he tried to meet with him to talk about his future but Pearson didn't ever give him the opportunity.

I think we all know Pearson is probably a bit of an arrogant nobhead but I quite liked it that way. Definitely wasn't dull under him.

I'd be doing quite the opposite and deleting them from my hard drive if I were you.

I'm still using 78s :(

To me a hard drive is Leicester to Newcastle in 4 hours.

Love Kasabian. Love Pearson.

Bothered by their comments? No, not really. They have their opinions I have mine.

Just like how this forum works, and should work.

BUT I'm not gonna start disliking them, slagging them off, or even starting calling them names as people are on here and as people do on here when people disagree with each other.

To be honest I was never bothered about persons media spats ect... He was doing the business on the pitch, the players were playing for him and people who dealt with him all said that what you saw on the TV wasn't the man he was. He didn't suffer fools and if he ever met kasabian he probably didn't have much time for their rock star posing and attitude (I do like their music by the way), maybe they're mates with Lennon.

Pearsons media persona is all people would see of him. Thats where people get the opinion he is arrogant and rude.

Its all a bit irrelevant what he is like away from football, the majority never see that.

If someone like Joey Barton or Dennis Wise was a smashing personality off the pitch it, it would be irrelevant. We are interested in the football and their football personality lets them down.

Jesus, imagine offering up the opinion you want Pearson out and Lennon in and actually being serious about it.

I wouldn't have been surprised if Pearson was a bit arrogant or dismissive towards them, he probably wondered what the **** they were doing there.

I'd imagine they would have felt the same if after their set at Glastonbury and they started to take the applause of the crowd Pearson all of a sudden wandered out onto the stage punching the air, jigging about and waving to the crowd next to them.

Hahaha giving him all that shit and then say they want Neil ****ing Lennon to replace him  lol  lol  lol

As a reminder to everyone, Neil Lennons record at Bolton Wanderers:

First 18 games : 8W/5D/5L (44%W)

Next 17 games: 4W/5D/8D (24%W)

Seriously, has an ex-player of Pearsons ever come out to criticise him?

Perhaps Pearsons biggest fault was not getting down on both knees to stick his tongue up Tom and Serge's arse

No, Hooper was up for that...

I've never gotten the arrogant thing, I've always found him quite humble tbh

When he's asked the right questions.  He does get bristly when journos ask dumb things or insist on asking questions he won't answer but that's one of his positive traits imo.  He only actually lost it once with Ostrichgate and how brilliant was that?

The problem with you liking Pearson being 'an arrogant knobhead' is that you like those traits in him which a. Make him successful and b. Have probably got him sacked.

I'm surprised that more people aren't a little angry about him being 'an arrogant knobhead'. Just a bit more composure and a little less daftness on his part, this season, and we would probably still have the best manager the club has had in decades.

serge from kasabian says " We (the music industry) created Miley Cyrus man, that’s our fault. She’s just a ****ing accumulation of internet porn, ****ing hip-hop, ****ing Disney world. She’s just a ****ing nightmare of the 21st century. It’s not her fault but we created that. The way she goes about her business, Twitter, all this bollocks, blows my mind.“

So, porn and Disney and hip-hop prove to be the main ingredients for shite. Let us think back to the last time Kasabian were about to release an album. Remember how they drafted in a group of naked girlies to pose with them in their big NME cover story to build up hype for the Disney like ‘Velociraptor!’? Perhaps his memory can’t go back that far. Has Serge ever stopped to listen to his own records? I mean, boy wonder (Tom Meighan) makes no bones about his love for hip-hop and usually finds plenty of time to litter Kasabian songs with his pathetic attempts at the very aforementioned genre.

they sound like turds crying.

I guarantee there is more chance that Pearson got sacked because he was a man of principle and refused to spunk money and pay ludicrous wages in a futile attempt to reach the top six, than there is in any of the nonsense you're spouting mate.

You could be partly right of course.

However I think I am too.

The owners probably had enough of him.

He has picked too many arguments with too many people.

Times have changed. Clough, for example, probably wouldn't last too long in contemporary football. Rightly or wrongly.

I won't offend you though. You aren't right because you insult.

I've heard today he was sacked because he was offered big money to spend but he refused and was happy to go about his buisiness as he was buying players that would fit in and build a team rather (Which was already working) than spending big and getting player who might not fit in or might upset other players.

But who am to say.

All I am saying is though pretty much every reason for his sacking that i've heard he has grounds to take legal action, and I really hope he wins.

You hope that a professional manager who has no real affection for the club to win a legal case against your football club?

Let me just pick up all the toys you poor little Pearsonite's babies have thrown out of the pram.  I've never heard so much drivel in all my life. The Kasabian comments on Pearson are just what a lot of people have wanted to say for a long time but couldn't!!

FOR GOD'S SAKES GROW UP.

Its not my football club, I support Leicester City FC but I have no say in whats going on. Its owners club, not mine, certainly how i'm feeling at the moment.
