My favourite watch and wear it every day ...   had it for about 20 years (?) and it never misses a beat, always spot on (chronograph more expensive but you have to keep winding and not as accurate).

Very comfortable strap and proper waterproof (can dive with it on) ...   been with me all over the world and still looks as good as the day I bought it.

Superb, still looks in great nick. I also love the Speedmaster. Great brand and much prefer them to Rolex's for a snip of the price.

I wouldn't have minded a seamaster but I couldn't justified spending 3k on a watch, plus I like chronograph, not that I really need a stopwatch on my wrist. Edited by Webbo

Got me going now. Just looked on Ebay for pocket watches. Ordered a skull designed one.

Never thought I could have looked for a LCFC one.

When I win the lottery...breitling-navitimer-world-steel-brown-st

I've got a really good fake of a breitling Montpellier, looks very similar to that. Cost me £80 about 5 years ago.

Do it, they hold their value very well as well so it's not money for old rope. What one you thinking? I'd love a seamaster.

Yeah it's a Seamaster, so nice but really expensive and pretty chunky.

Very happy with my Tag Heuer Carrera but really want a vintage Breitling Navitimer. Can't afford one though, they've jumped in price massively over the last 2/3 years.

Leather straps are a no from me

I'm the opposite, much prefer leather to links (despite current watch.) It suits the aesthetic of the watches I prefer.

The above would be naff with a link strap.

when people say a watch "keeps good time" what does it mean?

my £4.99 watch from B&M keeps good time!!

Well before I got this Eco Drive, I got a Fossil watch that I had to reset three times in two weeks. The clock in my kitchen permanently runs slow, regardless of battery life.

Which Fossil watch was it?

I have 3 and although one of them's battery died very quickly, they've all been fine keeping time.

The Mrs to be is buying me a nice watch for a wedding present. Bless her. Looking forward to getting it. I love watches.

What a stunner ...    Omega special Grey side of the Moon watch. Ceramic with rose gold inlays , an alligator strap, titanium clasp and the face made from a meteorite that landed in Namibia many moons ago.    (And its waterproof to 50 metres !).
