cc_star Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Wouldn't be surprised if Mourinho blocks any move of CFC players to us, he hates Ranieri and he'd die laughing if he got us relegated as looks far more likely than it did a few weeks ago Would love a loan of Loftus-Cheek though, don't know much about Ake... And someone like Romeu we should be buying not loaning. --------------- Claudio Ranieri has turned to his former club for help after struggling to reach an agreement with other targetsWhat a disgrace!!! :( With Ranieri's appeal, we'll be starting our first game with Matty James in a wheelchair or on crutches
Babylon Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 why are we loaning half of the chelsea squad, we got money to buy playersShe much wrong with so few words I don't know where to start!
Max Power Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 One loan (Romeu, Ake) and one permanent signing (Kante/Mendy) would be ideal I reckon. If the loan doesn't work out you can end it and look again in jan
kingfox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 A midfield of Romeu/Ake with King/Mendy is not worth thinking about, no forward drive in there whatsoever.

Of course he doesn't. We're in Chelsea's league in name only. So, getting a player in on loan for a season to see if he works out with a view to signing him permanently if he does, makes no sense to you. Who cares if he's on loan or permanent if he's in the team and doing well.
Stevosevic Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 A midfield of Romeu/Ake with King/Mendy is not worth thinking about, no forward drive in there whatsoever. Disagree. In a 3-4-3 that would be fine, and King gets forward when given the license too
kingfox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Disagree. In a 3-4-3 that would be fine, and King gets forward when given the license too King creates fvck all, he is solid in other areas when it comes to competing for the ball, don't expect him to drive forward though. Compare him to Matty James for instance similar stats in terms of competing, but James is far more effective when going forward. Romeu, Ake, King & Mendy are more defensive, you need someone like Kante or Dembele alongside them.

You can count the amount of goals James has scored or assisted since arriving on one hand if you take out the set pieces (maybe even if you leave in the set pieces).
Bayfox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Good player. Highly rated when coming through at barca. But was never gonna get near the 1st team with busquets in his way. Career has stalled a bit. But a loan and regular games would help. Would see that as the best option with an agreement to but next summer rather than pay a fee now and him not adjust.

No he can't shoot for shit.

If we were playing a 3-4-3, we would have a Mahrez type for creation in a central role and two wingers bombing forward.

Also what makes you think he 'hates' ranieri. Because the two exchanged words ahead of Italian clashes against inter milan. Like mourinho did with Ferguson, wenger, guardiola etc?
Stevosevic Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 If we were playing a 3-4-3, we would have a Mahrez type for creation in a central role and two wingers bombing forward. And when King gets forward he has a goal in him, unlike James.
Dan Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I haven't got a clue why we'd not just go and make this permanent immediately. He'd cost what, six million?
Devonfox1884 Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I haven't got a clue why we'd not just go and make this permanent immediately. He'd cost what, six million? £6million max. I reckon it'd be lower than that personally. Though I definitely agree we may as well sign him permanently.
Dan Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 James is decent at carrying it forward but his final third product is absolutely abject.
LCFC FOX Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Risk of a loan is if he has a quality season and look promising a bigger club will buy him next season
Dan Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Risk of a loan is if he has a quality season and look promising a bigger club will buy him next season Yep and if we buy him and he does that we might actually be able to make a profit on him. Loaning him would make literally no sense. He's clearly not breaking into that Chelsea side again. We've easily got the money they'd want. Make it happen.
Webbo Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Risk of a loan is if he has a quality season and look promising a bigger club will buy him next season Risk of buying is we lay out a load of money and he's crap. Swings and roundabouts.
Dan Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Risk of buying is we lay out a load of money and he's crap. Swings and roundabouts. They should have a decent idea really and I'll be amazed if he's actual shite.
Webbo Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Well I suppose that's true, it's not like we've ever signed crap players in the past.
LCFC FOX Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Well I suppose that's true, it's not like we've ever signed crap players in the past. lets just loan every player then?
Strokes Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Is everyone writing off drinkwater this season? I think he will feature in Ranieri's plans.
