Leicester has a massive support in the city and around the county and we have always resisted the tide of glory supporters reasonably well which is why we dominate the back pages in the mercury and the airwaves on radio Leicester. The Mercury editor even came out and said so a few years back stating that any City news shows big spikes in the sales of the paper while there is not much difference in sales with any rugby news.
