RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Our owners spend more time in their private jet than out of it. We bid £10million for players who have no intention of joining us, just for a laugh. We kept GTF on the wage bill last season purely to play him in central midfield at Stamford Bridge - I assume that was a joke too. I don't think money's an issue. It's not an issue or a concern for them, we've clearly got millions coming into the club plus the TV money. I'm talking about value for money and worth. Paying 400k for Mahrez is excellent business because he's probably worth 6m +, We're unlikely to sell Benalouane for profit, or the same value seeing as we're overspending for his signature.
General Smuts Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Have we had a long and protracted discussion about pronunciation yet? I think its Ben A Loon.
egg_fried_rice Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Have we had a long and protracted discussion about pronunciation yet? I think its Ben A Loon. Bet he's a bit of a Ben-a-loon head. I reckon it's Ben-a-loo-an.
Callabinho Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Imagine if it was Youngy this season...... Okazoney scored a lovely goal there, wonderful pass from Cunty following a great clearance from baloney.

VLC86 Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Imagine if it was Youngy this season...... Okazoney scored a lovely goal there, wonderful pass from Cunty following a great clearance from baloney. And that's without mentioning Fuchs.

What's he worth then?
CosbehFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Doesn't mean he can't reccomend a player to the board. I'd be amazed if Pearson didn't have any say in transfers. Agreed but would be an exception as Ulloa was. Pearson would say I want a player in position x, y and z. Scouting team identify and start from there.

Scouting team identify and start from there. Ulloa was most definitely a Walsh signing. Pearson perhaps agreed with the perseverance, but confirmed highly sought after by Steve Walsh.

His wages are likely to be lower than say a Chester would be etc. Clubs look at the overall package. That said it is an oddity compared to other signings.
Soar Fox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Imagine a back 3 of Huth Wasilewski Benalouane No striker would want to go near them.

filbertstreet Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 his name just reminds me of that shitty adam sandler film
ramadaone Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 is it hard to see from the toilets? Not too difficult no
RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 His wages are likely to be lower than say a Chester would be etc. Clubs look at the overall package. That said it is an oddity compared to other signings. Very true, and the cost for Chester is massive compared to what we all assumed would be the cost - dodged a bullet on that IMO, though he does have years of development ahead still. Imagine a back 3 of Huth Wasilewski Benalouane No striker would want to go near them. Must be scary for our lads training with them, could be the reason why Vardy's so venomous up against opposition CBs / learnt how to **** em up.
RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I didn't think it was with Pearson quoted as that Brighton game at home as the source of our interest. Ulloa had been on the radar for a while. “I watched him quite a lot, the first time against [Nottingham] Forest and I came away thinking: ’He’s not bad, I need to keep an eye on him’,” Walsh says. “So we had him watched quite a few times, and then after all our players had been out celebrating [promotion] we played Brighton at home and he took advantage – he beasted us. I said to the two centre-halves, Marcin Wasilewski and Wes [Morgan]: ’Who is the hardest forward you’ve had to mark this season in the Championship?’ They both said Ulloa.”
Molly Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 how the **** do you pronounce this guys name? ben-a-loon? I'm saying nothing.
Stadt Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I'm saying nothing. "nothing" doesn't sound anything like benalouane
Molly Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Okay, well given his Tunisian parents I reckon someone will have to explain the throaty sound needed to Leicester lads. Get ready for the throat clearing examples.
