RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Okay, well given his Tunisian parents I reckon someone will have to explain the throaty sound needed to Leicester lads. Get ready for the throat clearing examples. I would stay well clear of any pronunciation, or face trial by sexism.
Molly Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I would stay well clear of any pronunciation, or face trial by sexism. Especially the throaty ones.

Raj Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I have asked this question about all our signings and everyone we are linked to lolAnd the responses are?Tbf how the fook is the average city fan gonna say his name when most of us can't even say Ulloa's!!!
Buce Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Is that Boose - like goose or Buché like Guccé ? Neither: it's difficult to write phonetically, more like b-yoose.
HitchinFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I don't follow Euro footy at all. Is this guy good or potentially good? Based on what I've seen when he played for Atalanta against Inter – strong, physical and knows how to defend. A bit reckless at times. And the name: Ben Aloo (as in Bombay Aloo) Ann (as in the female name) Easy!

Wymsey Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Seems a bit of an aggressive type. Direct replacement for Wasil?

Hack Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Another player that doesn't want to play for one of the biggest clubs in the East Midlands Listen, can you stop all this negativity stuff. He was sad to leave and would of happily have stayed he says, doesn't mean he wont be happy to come the Leicester and play in the PL.
RedSoxUK Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Hope Kante cracks a real smile tomorrow, could use it to lure future signings to open up a little.
Rincewind Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Alf is the translater on FT he'll know pronouncination.
MC Prussian Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 I always thought the inclusion of a "Ben" in a (North) African family name meant part of some kind of (lesser) royalty, but I might be mistaken. Just as the "De" in Belgium or Dutch names or the "Von" in the German-speaking world. So that'd be Ben-Alou-Ane.
Nick Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Made the bbc gossip column this morning. Player confirms he has signed....
