Alex_LCFC Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 thats because he plays for Atalanta not Atlantathat is atalanta
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 http://app.football-italia.net/?referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.football-italia.net%2F70467%2Fbenalouane-im-going-leicester#article/footballitalia-70467&menu=news-all Yohan Benalouane reveals he “didn’t want to leave”Atalanta for Leicester City, but €8m was too much to turn down. The 28-year-old Tunisian defender has already said goodbye to his teammates in Bergamo. “I couldn’t say anything before the deal had been concluded, but I so wanted to. I will come back to see you often, as I love this city so much and really am leaving my heart here,” Benalouane told the Bergamo Post.
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 another one who didn't want to join, we are AWESOME! Looks like him and Kante to be announced tomorrow then
ozleicester Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Didnt want to leave, the best way to leave fans happy, "no i dont wan to play in a better league, no i dont want to earn twice as much. But, i have to I luvs you all"
Stevosevic Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I think that's fair enough. He obviously loved playing for them. Doesn't mean he wont be committed to us.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 another one who didn't want to join, we are AWESOME! Looks like him and Kante to be announced tomorrow then Just seems like he loves Bergamo, to me - not a OH GOD PLEASE DONT MAKE ME LEAVE type job
Pie_ Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Before going to Atalanta Yohan played in my beloved Parma (Ranieri also miraculously saved us from relegation to Serie B a few years ago), a very underrated player in Italy, but with human qualities and technical skills enviable. He can play both as a central defender or as a right-back, he will enforce trust me.
johnny the fox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 another one who didn't want to join, we are AWESOME! Looks like him and Kante to be announced tomorrow then probably both will be paraded at the stadium in blindfolds and handcuffs with a gun at their backs...
Stevosevic Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Was has an Anderlecht tattoo on his calf, I don't hear people moaning about that.
gerrytaggart Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 3 times. Seems okay, good squad player but not an improvement on what we already have I though you said a few pages back that you only heard of this guy in the last few days. Not having a dig 80ftgiraffe, just trying to piece all this together?!....Im genuinely interested on what people ITK have to say about our new/potential new signings?
NewburyFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Before going to Atalanta Yohan played in my beloved Parma (Ranieri also miraculously saved us from relegation to Serie B a few years ago), a very underrated player in Italy, but with human qualities and technical skills enviable. He can play both as a central defender or as a right-back, he will enforce trust me. Well that's good news, thanks. I presume he's good on the ball then? Claudio said in yesterday's interview that he wanted to see the ball on the deck more.
EnderbyFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Not sure I can support a man who lets his headphones get into that state
TheMightySystem Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I don't understand Nannypig7 on twitter saying he wont want him as him being upset about leaving his current club means he wont grow an attachment to Leicester. I see it as a positive thing as he will obviously do what is in the best interest of his club and when he comes to us that will mean putting in full effort which is all that really matters. If we go with the mindset of players needing to love the club then why don't we just play local Leicester lads from the youth team as loving the club means they will be the best players for us right?
lgfualol Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Decent cover. The more competition for that CB role the better. Still cant help but feel €8m is steep but whatever. Ranieri must be a big fan.
Stevosevic Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 NannyPig is obviously a tool. Was loves the club? He has a tattoo of Anderlecht badge on leg. And Liam Moore supports United
Pie_ Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Well that's good news, thanks. I presume he's good on the ball then? Claudio said in yesterday's interview that he wanted to see the ball on the deck more. With the ball at his feet gets along great, also for being a defender it is very fast and with good attitude to dribbling.
Lesta Legend Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Was has an Anderlecht tattoo on his calf, I don't hear people moaning about that.We have lots of tools who take everything out of context and want to make something out of nothing. He clearly had a good bond with the club and fans he left, always a good thing. He'll improve our defensive options sure, I do hope he limits the volume of yellow cards!
Dylster Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Doesn't really seem like an improvement to me, from what I've heard about all the cards he gets and stuff.
LCFC247 Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Hmmm... not sure about this one. Sounds like a waste of money to be honest.
Stevosevic Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Doesn't really seem like an improvement to me, from what I've heard about all the cards he gets and stuff. To be fair, weren't we told Marcin was just a walking red card?
KFS Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Looks like a similar playing style to Wes to me. Trusting Steve Walsh on this one!
Richard Kingson Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Good to see the clued-up insight flooding in lads. Fancy knocking up a few paragraphs about what you've seen of him?
fox_favourite Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Didnt want to leave, the best way to leave fans happy, "no i dont wan to play in a better league, no i dont want to earn twice as much. But, i have to I luvs you all" Didn't Kasper when he 1st came said something similar when we signed him from Leeds. I'm sure he said he didn't want to leave a thanked the fans for their support and loved the club...look how that turned out. I wouldn't read too much into it to be honest. He just keeping the fans happy.
