We've added Okazaki to the attack And Fuchs to the defence Now it seems as though we've added Kanté to the midfield but lost Ec. Overall we've upgraded well and need 1 more good midfielder.

Can only read so much into defenders based on Youtube videos but it does look like he often feints, which shows pretty decent composure., something I'd not associate our back line with. I'm starting to warm to this one a little. I trust our scouts. Get in the bin mate, you've literally never seen him kick a ball. The pre-judgement is guff.

If you look at the squad compared to the start of last season it's looking much stronger. Fuchs, Okazaki, Huth, Kramaric, Benny (I'm calling him that as I'll never remember how to spell it), Kante + one more midfielder.

Raw Dykes Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Not that excited by this signing. We've got enough in defence IMO. We really haven't/hadn't. If we're playing with 3 centre halves, then we need at least 4 good ones in the squad. We had 3, and Was is at that age where his ability could decline suddenly. Wes is ok, but wouldn't get in many Prem teams. I'm not sure if Moore's quite up to it at this level, at the moment, at least. We definitely needed strengthening in defence.

The problem here is the cost, and whether he's worth it - from relative obscurity when the position he's taking doesn't exactly need replenishing. Would I rather add 5 million to throw at a brilliant midfielder, definitely.

We bid £10million for players who have no intention of joining us, just for a laugh. We kept GTF on the wage bill last season purely to play him in central midfield at Stamford Bridge - I assume that was a joke too. I don't think money's an issue.
