Someone creative alongside him would work just as well Even in his brief cameo on Saturday you could see his quality Kante looked really promising and played the furthest forward of a 3 with DD and AK. I think he seems to have a balanced game and good range of passing. As for creative, some of DD's passing was sublime at times. He played like that 2 years ago as well. I said last season that he and EC together we're not a good fit as they both occupy the same spaces and want to play the same passes, EC was just better at them and was the main man. Hopefully DD can step up now he is back in his favored dictator position, surrounded by hard working players that complement him (and each other)

Check a few pages back. As long as Schalke can't get rid of Boateng, there'll be no move for Inler. Plus, their director of football has already been quoted saying that they've pulled out of the race.

Being involved in football, I know that these deals can turn very complex and alternate between "off" or "on" very quickly. As a fan all you have to do is wait for confirmation, or for at least Rama/Bert/someone else confirm they've been at the training ground etc... so you can get a little excited.

There are Twitter rumours linking Inler to signing for us, but that doesn't mean all other clubs have pulled out of the race prior to that. It can also mean that the player decides to go for the best offer that's on the table out of three (four) available.
