Is the 'owner' too egotistic for his position?

I don't believe our owners have a big ego.

They appear very caring and supportive.

Ego owners are probably like Cellino, the Venky's etc.

I was about to say that it seems like the media have got it in for us this season, then I realised it was some child from the metro. If half a dozen Leicester fans click on this absurd nonsense, it'll be pushing their all time records for Web site traffic. Ignore these idiots.

The biggest problem is, its just a shit cover.

Doesnt draw anyone in doesnt sell product, it just need to be done better.

Now .....if he had been abseiling from the helicopter onto the pitch with the match ball in one hand and a bloodied sunderland shirt  in his mouth...

I expect you still bought it thought right? And then continued to be indignant about it to whoever you went to the match with, general people in your surrounding area? Missed the goals as you were still staring at the front cover in outrage?

I logon to to FT looking for more celebration of a great win first match of the season and I get this irrelevance and Jamie Vardy racist accusation. WTF

A Guardian writer with a piece in the Metro. lol

If you want to create a stir, how about pointing out that the price for the programme has increased by more than 16%?

Also, if he knew Leicester regularly, he'd know by now that it's quite common for the owner(s) to feature on the cover.

the real scandal here is the 50p price increase

This.

Think that could be the end of me buying a programme, I never really read them anyway, it's just more habit of buying one, got boxes full of them.

anyone offended by this needs to get the **** over themselves

Seconded. Complete non story. After all they've done for the club can't begrudge a little indulgence.

People are making out like it was the owners themselves who actually produced the program, is there not someone who is paid to design-edit it? More than likely it was their idea for this cover

Yes some would rather take the moral high ground over nonsense then enjoy any positive moment. Its as if some enjoy a good moan rather then enjoy any moment. If we won the f.a. cup im sure it would be to shiny that is offensive or some crap to some loser.

I hate it when he puts himself on the cover. That is two matches in a row he's done it.

Then there was the ticker tape welcome for them after QPR, but not for the players and staff. I find it cringey and if they ever dared to do it during a bad run there would be uproar.

I also wonder what sort of repetition Top would have got at HT if we'd been losing and not 3-0 up.

i assume he asks (or someone decides for him ) to be on the cover to say "thank you "and "welcome". (at the close and opening of the season)

i was sitting close to them yesterday and they seemed quite humble, smiling and nodding at supporters close to them and happy to shake hands with anyone. top particularly showing the frustrations that we all feel when a chance went astray, slapping his clappers down on the glass screen in front of them.  top went out of his way to get clappers for the thai's on the front row before the game.

next thing, people are going to pick up on the creeping 'whiteification' of stuff at the kp (including the tracksuit tops pre game). is that in deference to the removal of the colour from our first chioce strip?

I highly doubt he's gone "guys, put me on the magazine please."

The programme will be a partly autonomous entity with its own editor who will have made the decision and invited Vichai in to do a segment and a photoshoot.

Who gives a toss? Would you rather he be on the programme every now and then or going full on Vincent Tan and trying to be centre of attention at every step?

Seriously, people, grow up.

First rise in how many years? Before 2009 that's for certain.

Also I'm fairly sure this isn't the first time the owners have been on the cover, why not anyway?

Only buy a couple, first and last of season and maybe one half way through if I'm feeling flush. ;)
