Leicesterpool Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 At home of course and winnable but what a draw all round. Villa v Birmingham, Spurs v Arsenal, Walsall v Chelsea, Palace v Charlton
Mark_w Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Hopefully it will be on tv Good job all the other ties look really dull.
Clever Fox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Shit Draw. I was hoping for another easy game. Kind of play our way into the Cup. Still at least it's a home draw.
AKCJ Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Seriously guys what would be considered a good draw? Simple home game, away to a good ground in a decent town, away to a side where we can take loads... they're probably the main things I look for. This is a boring fixture, easy to lose and not really one to try out the young lads in.
Kitchandro Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 not a premier league team at home. it will be 10k max, it will still be quite expensive and we will probably lose. great draw that. Doubt it will be 10K. We'd be unlikely to take loads away to anywhere and we'd get a lower attendance if we played a shitter team at home. Why would we probably lose?
001merp Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I like the fact this is at home. It's the last week before I go to back to uni so should be able to go. Love a cup game.
Leicesterpool Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 All police leave cancelled for the birmingham derby.
The Doctor Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 North London and Birmingham derbies should be a good watch.
Soar Fox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 When we were in the championship I swear we only got like 2 premiership teams in the FA cup & league cup. We always had shite draws like Preston away or Cardiff at home. Since we've been in the premiership all we do now is draw premiership teams
Fox42 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 ba de ya https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs069dndIYk There should be a chant based on that when we play Man U from when we whooped dem on that date

People would moan about a simple home game saying it's boring and the stadium would be empty. I think people are quite picky, very few draws would be popular on here.
Corky Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 All police leave cancelled for the birmingham derby. Blimey, they move quickly to ring every officer ten minutes after the draw.

Fair comments - Wednesday, Preston or Walsall away would have been good; Carlisle if it weren't a weekday - other than that it's premiership, sides we've faced year after year in the championship like Middlesbrough or shite identikit stadiums like MK Dons or Reading.
RedSoxUK Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 We outclassed them for the most part away like, last week - and put them down at our place last season, I don't think they've got a particularly strong squad either, definitely winnable. Half 1st team, half 2nd should do it.

Pretty much any team with a 20k plus capacity stadium.

Why would we probably lose? unless they make them very cheap we won't shift more than half the ground. well as ties go it's not as winnable as someone shitter at home. it's just a boring tie and will inevitably be seen as a nuisance and we will put our reserves out and lose 1-0.
The Doctor Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Pretty much any team with a 20k plus capacity stadium. So to establish, you'd rather Reading away than this? Mans crazy.
Larry_LCFC Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 It is what it is. Short of getting a local derby, not a lot else we could have asked for.
BoyJones Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Happy with the draw. At home. If West Ham are in bottom three - five, they will play a weakened team. Great chance to progress. We need a Wembley trip this season.
fuchsntf Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Great Draw...We compared 1st teams,2 weeks ago, now we can compare 2nd 11s. Though I see Ranieri mixing it more, with 1st teamers and players from tonight.
Larry_LCFC Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Just had a look on the WH forum. They don't seem very confident of a win. We seem to be getting ourselves a bit of a reputation boys - and not a bad one for a change!
Benguin Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I wanted Carlisle away, but not too displeased with wham at home. Should get a result imo
kingfox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 We're at home, have a good chance to take out some trash but as always fans are moaning. くたばれ
