Another good player. Don't think we need to worry about centre back we have 4 (or 5 with Moore) very good centre backs.

People are too quick to want change, obsessing with transfer windows. Keeping teams together for long periods of time is key to success.

Looked pretty quick for a CB and cool on the ball. We actually played out from the back a few times.  You can see why he came close to the French national side. Quality signing.

I'm desperate for him to stay, because we really are sorted for CB's.

I was also surprised by the amount of times where he seemingly popped out of nowhere in central defensive midfield to clear the ball or put his body in, having advanced from his regular CB position. He's deceivingly quick and covered both as a centre-back and left-back, standing in for Chilwell when the latter was a bit out of position.

Benny is a superb defender and a ball player! Think someone mentioned above was very close to the french national team!! Correct but his Tunisian youth selection stopped this happening.

Just a shame Huth and Morgan have been good else id love him in the team.

Solid performances by both centre halves yesterday but here's a question.

If you could only keep one of them this transfer window, who would it be?

Purely because if age, Benny. Was only has a maximum of 18 months left with us IMO, and that's if Claudio wants to renew his contract.

To the tune of "You're the one that I want" (although it calls for the perhaps mispronunciation "Benalou-an" rather than "Benalou-arny")

Yohan Benalouane! Yohan Benalouane

Ooh ooh oooooh, BENNY!

I wonder whether he was expecting to walk straight into the team at the start of the year.

I watched him in his first game playing for the U21s and it was like watching Anthony Knockaert crossed with Wasilewski. He played at RB and he was up and down that wing pulling off step-overs and backheels, not to mention needless kicks and flicks for the sake of it. When he eventually debuted in the first team he was far too casual.

Now he seems to have realised that he needs to actually work hard to get in the team. I reckon our outstanding league position is the reason why players such as Benalouane, Inler and even Kramaric have been patient in waiting for their chance.

Is Huths place on wednesday in jeopardy?

Genuine headache for Claudio. I'd stick with Huth and Morgan, see if Was and Benny can recreate their performances in the replay first.

Thought Was and Benny were excellent. Was always gives it everything. Benny showed us the player he is, cultured, calm, fast and determined. Decision making was very good.

Hope he stays.

Very good yesterday. Looks another shrewd bit of business.
