Bournemouth away Match Thread

It's a good message to send that Dodoo is on the bench after a good performance in the cup. Completely undermined by the Kramaric decision. However, I dont think it's anything personal, it's a formation change and we can't have 3 strikers on the bench. Would be just as harsh to drop Oka or Leo from the bench.

the fact Vards is our only striker is worrying

why?  as has been said by another we will probably have Albrighton and Marhrez playing higher up as wingers.  4321 formation.  Not worrying at all, let's just see how it works away from home.  Shall we.

Good to see the manager dispense with 4-4-2 every now and then

was worried we might stick with it all season. Interesting that he didn't go feel the need to play this formation at West Ham. As I said earlier, he seems to want that clean sheet. However, I hope this isn't a repeat of pearsons 'post man U we let in three syndrome' from last season. Took us months to get over that virus!

not long to find out how we are set up. not sure Bournemouth's defenders are good enough on the ball to play it around JV all afternoon and wear him out. That would be my tactic every time boruc got the ball if I were them. If they aren't good enough and they try it, then we will win.

I'm not being funny, but man for man we are better than Bournemouth in every department.

Setting up as 4-5-1 with Vardy on his own (presumably leaving him with less opportunity to actually use his pace down the channels) is negative.

Its nothing to do with your anti-Pearson/pro-Ranieri agenda.

I think Albrighton and Mahrez will have more freedom but neither are going to have anybody to aim their crosses at. Let's hope Kante or King are dynamic enough to fill that link between midfield and Vardy.

I think Drinky will offer enough in that area, can see him getting a goal if he continues as he has

Can't believe the crying in here.

Kramaric played during the week, Dodoo had a worldie, we're a squad and we're going to rotate a bit depending on opposition and form.

I'm glad to see Kanté in and if we are behind in the last 20 we have some great options even without Krammy.

Stop the complaining and enjoy the games.

anyone found a good link?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what Kramaric has done to deserve an automatic place in the squad. Other than costing us £10 million he's done nothing of note.

But our steering wheel is sitting on a hospital bed somewhere in Leverkusen. :(

But I like Ranieri's brain translating concepts from Italian to English better than Google's efforts with Brazilian Portuguese

DD, Kanté, and King will just have to get out of the car and fight, we fight everybody.

Why don't we just play to our strengths last season and go 5 at the back?

Why don't you start trusting the manager.  You know your not the manager don't you!

Scored a couple of nice goals and has a better goals to minute ratio than our other strikers IIRC. Not only that, but we haven't got to see him playing with a more mobile strike partner than Ulloa yet.

So following that idea Dodoo should be in.
