Captain... Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Chill the fvck out people, it is not a negative formation, it is only negative if we play negatively. Krama will get his chance, just not in this game, Ranieri will have watched how Bournemouth play and come up with a plan to deal with it. Judge it on the match not on paper. Krama is not going anywhere unless we bring in a new striker.
FoxinNotts Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Jeez, stop jumping to conclusions! We have a full squad. Dodoo scored a hat trick. Can only have seven subs, to cover all eventualities. Kram needs to fight for his place. If he throws a paddy, then tough, but he needs to be patient. This is all obvious stuff.
Kitchandro Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 RANIERI: "We change because I want to see how we play with three central midfielders. All of the players are in good condition." Krama is not injured then ? Surely the obvious thing would be to go to 3-5-2 which completely suits our players? Why do these managers always go for the least obvious common sense solution.
ronnup Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Two managers don't rate Kram and they watch him daily. Think we need to look at our success and trust them. Happy with this line up. They're going to want to play fast and attack, we can hit them hard on the break with serious pace.
Babylon Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 TinkerMan tinkers again. Don't change a winning side, we've been winning since last April. Why change to a system we have almost never used in a game we could be looking to win comfortably. Nervous about this now. We didn't win our last league game, so he isn't changing a winning team. He already changed the formation once and people blew a gasket... Yet it worked and people forgot about three at the back.
Gary Eatfood Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 So much needless negativity on here. It's painful to read.

Kram needs to fight for his place. If he throws a paddy, then tough, but he needs to be patient. This is all obvious stuff. He's been here for 8 months and has barely had a sniff. I'd be surprised if he's started 4 league games ip front with a strike partner.

HoustonFox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Surely the obvious thing would be to go to 3-5-2 which completely suits our players? Why do these managers always go for the least obvious common sense solution. Because he wants to keep a back 4? Because they play with 2 wingers and if we went 352 it would expose the gaps behind? Because we've been overrun in the middle this season and are playing away? Seems obvious to me.
Aus Fox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Surely the obvious thing would be to go to 3-5-2 which completely suits our players? MC Prussian Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 People are so easily displeased these days - we're unbeaten in three and have just announced a rather cautious formation. Not too bad, given Bournemouth's attacking style of late under Howe. The BBC has it down as a 4-2-3-1, so everybody chill out until the game is over. For now, cheer them on and support them as much as you can.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Give it chance I suppose but disappointed re Kram the man
chapero82 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Why don't we just play to our strengths last season and go 5 at the back?

davieG Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Pretty simple really we don't need 3 strikers on the bench so Shinji and Ulloa perhaps offer something different we do need cover on the wing hence Dodoo and with 3 central MFs it allows both Albrighton and Mahrez to be a bit more adventurous and less defensive. Nothing wrong with a bit of experimentation early season especially against the PLs weaker opposition.
weller54 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 We should overrun them in midfield.. Set up for a draw?
what? Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Okazaki is going to tear them to pieces when he comes on with half an hour left to play
Foxhateram Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 We didn't win our last league game, so he isn't changing a winning team. He already changed the formation once and people blew a gasket... Yet it worked and people forgot about three at the back. We still looked more convincing with three at the back. If he wanted a 5 man midfield it would have made sense to revert back to 3.5.2 ala Pearson's winning formula. As for putting benny on the bench over wasyl after his recent performances, well that is just shockingly unfair on our polish tank. Krama and wasyl will be up in the stands feeling right peeved off now.
ealingfox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Poor team selection and gutted for Krammy. Leicester setting up to defend/contain = Leicester setting up to lose. Think this is the day when the bubble bursts unfortunately. 2-0 Bournemouth. Bye Krammy
Kitchandro Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Where does Mahrez fit into 352? He's at his most effective on the wing, running at defenders. A wing Back he is not. Behind the front 2 where he played at the end of last season when he was extremely effective, obviously. Why would you ask something to which the answer is so blatantly clear?

Why would you ask something to which the answer is so blatantly clear? Except he wasn't particularly effective behind the two was he? certainly not compared to on the wing...

Sir Shep Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Wow one change and the worlds imploded! I'm happy with a little tinker, Kram I'm sure will be fine and we will hopefully go on to win. UTF
