Clearly a class above what we have. When he was a regular, Bayern thrashed teams, they conceded the odd sloppy goal but because they would thrash teams it wouldn't matter. The bloke will have to do a lot more defending here than at Bayern and I don't want him...

If so, I expect he will go there 2) if we signed him, we would be be more likely to play three at the back as he is comfortable bringing the ball out of defence into the midfield. Something you should have to play a functioning productive back three is this type of player. It's why we signed upson last season but he was never fit enough.

We may be playing some good stuff but like I've said for ages, our defending is woeful. To be really fair that was hard to defend. The ball whipped in from the left by Danielscame of the back of Gradel and bounced to Wilson who performed a great bicycle kick to score.

Suspect it was the ease that the one two got the full back in behind that will irk him
