ozleicester Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Fvck me... quite possibly the most, exciting, highly skilled and inventive player this club has ever seen...and we complain about him. His back heel assist for Kingys goal was genius, it was audacious and if it hadnt come off, the same way that the scissors kick didnt... people would be moaning, instead he created a goal and a memory that will be with me forever. Probably the premier league player of the year with more goals and assists than most others is a result of his "showboating". Fvck the haters. If we are going to complain about him....We dont deserve players of his quality.
Russell sprout Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I think people forget about his work rate, show me a skilful winger apart from Sanchez that tracks his man and works at getting back as much as Mahrez, there isn't one. The over head was a poor choice, he learnt quickly as two mins later he puts it across the box. To slate the man just shows a clear lack of understanding. Is that you Craig Shakespeare
BigMicky Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Sorry 'bigmicky' You should apologise to everyone for spouting such garbage.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Well, those who are slating our most creative player might well get the chance to reflect on what he brings to the table, because he may have hamstring issues.. I'm not sure about the source on this, but we will find out soon enough. http://www.albawaba.com/sport/mahrez-could-be-out-3-4-weeks-811988 He works hard for someone who is that good, and he will make mistakes/misjudgements. He has been massive, over the season, for us, and we will miss him if it is true.
Russell sprout Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Should have been dragged off tonight and needs to be slapped for that scissors kick Careful what you say 'bigmickys' about
Bert Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 If the scissor kick went in we'd still end fuming. Mahrez was offside.
BigMicky Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Is that you Craig Shakespeare Nope, that's not funny either. Planks like you conveniently forget about all of the attributes he brings to the team, scratch the surface its easy to pick up on the obvious stuff.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 If only he could do from 12 yards with only the keeper to beat what he can do from 25 yards surrounded by defenders, But that's not mahrezs style, I don't undervalue his importance to the team or his contribution,I'm merely making a point that he's selfish, all that cut in the out,he so pridictable, Yet amazing at the same time, He would improve as a player if he kept it simple, Gets me how fans are bemoaning schemicheals positioning for the great free kick, which was a fantastic strike, yet when mahrez fooks about some people are 'astounded' that i say such a thing, but hey,it's a forum He is selfish yet has setup about probably more than he has scored. He is so predictable yet he has a direct hand in 30 goals including important goals and assists against opponents playing champions league football. "Cut in, cut out" what does that even mean. If he isn't cutting in or outside where the fck is he supposed to go through someone's legs? Not that he hasn't done that plenty of times this season either. He will improve over time he is still young, meanwhile you'd do well to wind your neck in look at the league table look at his season statistics and realise that even the best players are selfish and make frequent mistakes, the lads a contender for pfa player of the year ffs, as I say, absolutely astounding.
leicesterisme Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Find it amazing how people criticise him. The boy is a genius, just enjoy watching him because you will sure miss him when he's gone. Of course he's going to frustrate at times, if he never lost the ball or made the wrong decision he would be playing for Barcelona and not for Leicester.
ozvaldo Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 He was great tonight, just got carried away with that overhead. He shows signs of absolute brilliance, although a 'world class' player either scores the overhead or plays it back in for a tap in to secure the 3 points. Still, we're in no position to complain - think of where we were last year and how immense Mahrez has been for us these last 12 months.
Russell sprout Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 You should apologise to everyone for spouting such garbage. We're all entitled to our opinion, Mine were facts, I'm not belittling mahrez,if you read my posts I say how much I know he brings to the team, but there's no getting away from the fact that he can be an individual at times, that's sometimes a good thing if it pays off and sometimes it isn't, You say the best players are selfish, Mahrez is not world class, yet,

You can be a great player and not world class??? So many posts on her dispelling your facts. I imagine you weren't at the game....

Manwell Pablo Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 No but he is one of the best.Look at his stats, then you see your opinion has no foundation.. Given his recent responses were barely worth the strain on the ligaments in his fingers I think he gets it.

Wilfred the fox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Is that you Craig Shakespeare Careful what you say 'bigmickys' about Russell your knowledge of football is astonishing ,support a netball team wtf
Guest bss9401 Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I have been watching my beloved Foxes since the late 70's and only saw Weller play once so I can say that I have never seen a player who can velcro the ball to his boot like Mahrez. He is truly brilliant and I can easily forgive any shortcomings that the modern game forces on creative players like him. I just love watching him in our shirt and so hope that he graces the Champions' League for us next season.
4everfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Anyone who criticizes Mahrez should be fed to the pigs. He's clearly the most skillful player to ever wear our shirt.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I hate to think what these "fans" become like if we were to win the league... judging by some of these posts, this place resembles the ingrates on the arsenal forum. appreciate what we have.... like Pulis said after the game. We should be very happy with these players who give it their all.
Dan Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 He's becoming a tad greedy at times for my liking but not so much that I'd drop him. I do find it quite funny how little room for error flair players get with fans in this country.
