Jimmy Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 He's becoming a tad greedy at times for my liking but not so much that I'd drop him. I do find it quite funny how little room for error flair players get with fans in this country. no but when was the last time he put in a cross, even if only to keep the full back guessing more, every time he runs inside he tries to curl 1 in the top corner, almost never looking to play Okazaki or Vardy in, if you always do the same thing it gets easy to stop, he should have been subbed in the game, not Albrighton

So, what in the world are you talking about?
Birmingham fox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 What are people moaning at? Remember the Josh Low days down the right. Everyone made a mistake in that game. Huth knocked over for 1st goal. Okazaki hitting bar from you yards with free header. Morgan chance when probably bit of composure would have scored. And so on. Any team in league would take Mahrez. Appreciate what we have. All flair players make mistakes. That is why they flair players, cos they try things out of the ordinary. They won't come off every time
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Just a reminder of how bad he actually is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ybl537lzus He's an absolute pleasure to have at the club. Again, the assist he made last night only certain players in the world can do.
Renart Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 He's an absolute pleasure to have at the club. Again, the assist he made last night only certain players in the world can do. Strange for us to agree. It must be the sun getting to you mate.

Stadt Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I don't think he was that great yesterday, besides from the assist.
Birmingham fox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 You would say Morgan not finishing like a predatory striker is a mistake? He's a centre back, and did that superbly last night. At no point did I say Morgan wasn't outstanding last night. I thought he was a masssive leader in that team last night. Especially in last 20 mins when trying to win the game. Although I still say he should have scored and you don't need to be a predatory striker to stick that chance away. Although yes I will agree maybe mistake was wrong word to use. My point was about about people knocking mahrez for making wrong decisions now and again and saying at some point every player on that pitch whether blue or red made a wrong decision at some point in that 90 minutes. Mahrez makes one and gets slaughtered!

Dickov22 Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Mahrez was sensational again. At times he is mesmerising on the ball . Joy to watch
Wymsey Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 We seem to keep relying on him; but seems fit all the time so it's all good really. If that overhead kick went in, well...
shen Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Mahrez was sensational again. At times he is mesmerising on the ball . Joy to watch Watching him in real time, I still don't understand how he does some of the things he does. It's not just his lightning quick feet, it's his agility and ability to avoid tackles that verges on Messi-esque. Brilliant.
Countryfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Mahrez was sensational again. At times he is mesmerising on the ball . Joy to watch And the way he controls the ball when its pinged 50 yards to him ... I swear he has a big invisible cushion attached to the inside of his boot. A joy to watch indeed.
americanfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I hope your right,he's lost us points in 2(villa and Bournemouth) Given away a daft free kick tonight which led to there equaliser, I like Riyad but he such a frustrating player, He like knockart, very selfish, sometimes it seems that it's all about him and not the team, Suppose the irony is he can be crap then pop up with the winner, and all is forgotten, If he thinks he's Barcelona class though he needs a wake up call,he perfectly suited playing for us Oh give me a fooking break, Mahrez is what we always wanted Knocky to be.
americanfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 We're all entitled to our opinion, Mine were facts, I'm not belittling mahrez,if you read my posts I say how much I know he brings to the team, but there's no getting away from the fact that he can be an individual at times, that's sometimes a good thing if it pays off and sometimes it isn't, You say the best players are selfish, Mahrez is not world class, yet, I don't think you know what is a "fact".
Countryfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Oh give me a fooking break, Mahrez is what we always wanted Knocky to be. Knocky looking better now ?? Gradel not too bad either ???
ajthefox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I think he was good last night, but it wasn't a special performance. The touch for the goal was obviously brilliant and he made some decent runs, but I think he made a number of poor decisions when others were in clearly better positions. Having said that, it's the way he plays which makes him so special when he pulls stuff off, so I'm not complaining. I just think to say he was sensational is over the top.
AKCJ Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Oh give me a fooking break, Mahrez is what we always wanted Knocky to be. This. Knockaert is a poor mans Mahrez. We all love Knocky but we all loved Zsolt Laczko, Max Gradel etc... Leicester fans have always appreciated flair but Mahrez is a country mile ahead of any Leicester player most of us have ever seen in the famous blue.
phildw Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Injured with a hammy and out for 3-4 weeks! Hope this is rollocks!! According to news now update. I'm hoping http://www.albawaba.com/is not that reliable!
filbertstreet Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 lol http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3473060/Riyad-Mahrez-never-heard-Leicester-City-sealing-title-chasers-thought-rugby-team.html
americanfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Knocky looking better now ?? Gradel not too bad either ??? Agreed on both. If Knocky continues to grow as a better passer and decision-maker, he's obviously talented enough to play in the Premier League.
