UPinCarolina Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Clubs want to buy as early as possible while the price is affordable before the price eventually sky rocket. It's the selling clubs that sees it your way. I would agree with you, except that I feel he is not at the level where he could contribute regularly on a side of the caliber he would likely end up signing with. His value is currently based on what he has done and *could* do - but regardless of what he *could* do, he hasn't gone on to do that yet. Point well taken, however.
Danizen Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 given how clueless he is expect Mahrez to be announced for Barca next weekTo be fair to him, his record when it comes to Barcelona and Espanyol is pretty good. He clearly does have contacts in Catalonia.
Wymsey Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Would be interesting to see the comparison between Mahrez and Messi. Obviously, Messi has scored more but they play the same way imo.
Carl the Llama Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/leicester-star-riyad-mahrez-risks-7468413 tut tut. Naughty Mahrez Mirror basically the newspaper version of Brian of Nazareth's mum.

Phube Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Mahrez batters Messi in the 'tackles won' stat! In your face Messi!
Adster Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/leicester-star-riyad-mahrez-risks-7468413 tut tut. Naughty Mahrez Like no one else has never done this before.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Guilty of overplaying tonight, sometimes when it's not going for him or he's closed down he doesn't ever seem to take the easy option. Until he learns this he's gonna be inconsistent. I find him both brilliant and frustrating in equal measure, just depends on which one plays. I'd still start him every week, don't get me wrong.
Buzzell Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 The ball just sticks to his feet. Dribbling is unreal too.
adam Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Not good enough tonight .Should of been subbed instead of Albrighton.
lgfualol Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Thought he was fantastic with skills, passes and that assist tonight. We seemed to stop using the right side where he was when Schlupp came on for some reason.
AKCJ Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Our best player tonight. Had Chester on toast. To say he wasn't good enough is simply astounding.
Izzy Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 He's brilliant and we'll all miss him when he's gone. He's a greedy little shit at times but I forgive him because he's a game changer and match winner. One of the very few Leicester players I've seen in over 35 years who gets people out of their seat and is worth the admission fee alone. Enjoy him while he's here folks...
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Any criticism of him tonight is unwarranted, he was on a different planet and made things happen every time he got the ball. His karate kick in the last minute was frustrating but that's what makes him unpredictable and let's not let it cloud a great performance. He'll be gone soon and we'll have a Milner type to replace him so let's enjoy him while he's here
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 can't understand the people complaining about him tonight. people are beggining to sound like ungrateful arsenal fans.... bad thing is we havn't even won anything yet. The guy is a special player and makes things happen more often than not. was our best player tonight after Drinkwater and Morgan. Unlucky with the handball for the freekick and the overhead might have been a bit ambitious and he probably should have knocked it across.... but he creates a lot more than he messes up and if he came off.... i can guarantee 2-3 of the WBA defenders would be very happy.
LCFC FOX Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 He had plenty of time to take the ball down and either slot it into the goal or pass it back across for a tap in at the end there

Len Finsbury Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Looked threatening every time he got the ball tonight. My only criticism is that sometimes he thinks it's the Mahrez show. The late spectacular overhead kick attempt is a good example.
Aroberts123 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I thought he did pretty well throughout- always looked dangerous. However, that bicycle kick attempt ticked me right off. He'd made his mind up as soon as the ball had come over. Should have nodded it across the face of the goal, Ulloa and Vardy were waiting. We had envisaged the remarkable headlines then IMO.Frustrating night, up the hammers tommorow!
Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Overhead was fvcking stupid but I bet no one feels worse than him atm, probably getting a bollocking from his manager and his teammates and to be frank it would be deserved. He will learn, though and I'm sure he won't do it again.
ScouseFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 sensational footballer. unreal ball skills. stupid people (and presumably motd) will say "arrr wot a pr1ck dat overhead kick in da last min bell end" but realistically he was superb and his heading is probably worse than his overhead kicks so why the fck not try it.
