kushiro Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Good picture in the Guardian this morning - not just Kane and Vardy, but Drinkwater on the bench too at Watford, 2013.
weller54 Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Good picture in the Guardian this morning - not just Kane and Vardy, but Drinkwater on the bench too at Watford, 2013. Who's Pearson about to slap?
MC Prussian Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Who's Pearson about to slap? Gianfranco Zola, yo.
Collymore Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Tom Lawrence is on BBC2 Wales sky 971 if anyone's interested. 2nd half just started Wales 1-0 down to Ukraine.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Tom Lawrence is on BBC2 Wales sky 971 if anyone's interested. 2nd half just started Wales 1-0 down to Ukraine. Looked a little off the pace to be honest. Some nice touches but may not make the final 23 squad.
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Japan v Syria starts at 10.30 this morning UK time. Shinji almost certain to win his 100th cap. In the meantime, a picture from the weekend. Anyone fancy adding a speech bubble to one of these little beauties? I'll start. The baby's saying, "You said it was Shinji KAGAWA!". Yeah, rubbish, I know. Please do better.

Quick, take the picture before he falls overJoking
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Shinji drags a great chance just wide. Japan looking sharper tonight.
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Now Shinji puts a flying volley just over. One minute before he was close to connecting with a flying near post diving header. Japan haven't looked this good for ages.
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Half time, still 1-0. Okazaki is flat out tonight - no, I don't mean on the deck - he's using every ounce of energy but in a different way to a Leicester game. Rather than dropping back to cover, he's moving laterally across the front line. It's very impressive, but I really hope he gets taken off for a rest.
foxfanazer Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Praying our players come through tonight unscathed. Bad enough that Kasper has a slight problem but if we lost Kante or Vardy to injury it could be season defining. The Dutch were putting in some big challenges against the French the other night too. It's not great that Spurs players will largely be rested tonight either and Sturridge will almost certainly get injured ruling him out for Saturday.
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Four times now Okazaki has made exactly the same run from a corner and got the near post flick-on.
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Okazaki's goal ruled out - clear offside. He's coming off after 77 minutes. What a shift that was.
kushiro Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 It's finished 5-0. Most importantly, Shinji comes through unscathed.
tom27111 Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Mahrez is having lumps kicked out of him by the Ethiopia defence. This isn't going to end well for us. Algeria 1-0 down, so they won't take him off.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 1-1 slimani half time now, playing on a sunday league pitch.
AKCJ Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Algeria now losing 2-1. Good result for us really, the less chance of Algeria qualifying... the better.
onekeithweller Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I watched the last 3 minutes. Riyad played the full game and looked fit at the end.
AKCJ Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Vardy and Drinkwater both start tonight. What a time to be alive!
