Migrants - What's the answer?

Recommended Posts

This is just getting out of hand in my eyes, They are trying to get into the UK but at the end of the day what are they going to be bringing to the table? The majority of the Women will not work, yet they will be expected to be housed, feed and watered from our state.

While the majority of the Males getting through will result to crime to fund there lifes.

Yes there will be a small minority that will want to work and will offer the country some benefits but this number is extremely small in my eyes.

It's like yesterday I was walking up the NCP carpark to get to my car and there was an immigrant getting ready to take a hit of crack!!! So to fund his habbit he will have to commit crime and who knows this could lead to murder in some cases, now if you look at this on a larger scale we will be ****ed sooner rather than later if we continue to let them come in.

And lets not get it twisted Leicester is run over with illegals, its a disgrace. if you drive up one road in Leicester there must be 10-15 disabled parking spots on one street. taking the PISS!

Christ, the amount of scum in this thread and you manage to top it all. Congrats

Should leave all the tents up at reading and leeds and just let any refugees in there. There's always lots of beer, mixer and food left over as well.

**** me the last few pages have verged on ridiculous.

Of course we're going to build on our green belt to accommodate a load of migrants in search of a better life.

The country when talking about the NHS and education IS full.

I'm neither for or against allowing genuine refugee's here with a low cap on them. (How many times bigger is Germany than the UK?)

But I'm not going to start being an apologist saying 'Sorry' nor will I clamour to get on a bandwagon of, 'Refugee's Welcome'

Seen this in the Express today too. Make of it what you will

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/555434/Islamic-State-ISIS-Smuggler-THOUSANDS-Extremists-into-Europe-Refugees

Meanwhile whilst we're throwing another £100m away abroad, a friend of mine is raising £500 to buy one of the Leicester Hospitals a machine which saved his life abroad. And LOROS need to raise £4m ish a year to keep themselves going. Charity begins at home Dave

So many things wrong with your views, so many.

Not much point trying to convince you otherwise, you're clearly entrenched, I mean you actually quoted the Daily Express!

However, just one point, as you take great pride in your mates Charity efforts. Funny how Tories all love to brag about their ' great work for charity'.

Charity begins at home? Fair play, if you agree with that then why not back a 1p in the £ rise in tax, that will actually make the need for all charities redundant. We will have enough money to support all charitable causes.

What ? No? You don't want to pay more tax!? You want to live in your Thatcherite world? Thought so.

I have no empathy..I've read it and thought.. "So what?" I won't be preached to.

No one is preaching to you, either you have empathy (hence you are a human being) or you have no empathy (in which case you are a slug - sorry slugs).

Demann, clearly you have set out your stall, let's hope you and your family never need the empathy of others.

Of course you will say they won't, because you work so hard to be a great provider.

Be careful, pride before a fall can look very foolish.

I love how people can get so angry about someone's different views, that they expose their own vileness.

Different views?

So we should just accept different views?

Don't challenge them? Don't point out that they may be verging on the views of extremism.

So let's go back to the 1930's, let's just ignore what was going on across Europe, I mean, it was just different 'views' after all.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions at the end of the day. You don't have to agree with them, but that doesn't mean their wrong.

Yeah challenge them by all means, I'm not sure how not having empathy is verging on extremism though, you will have to elaborate that point. You seem to be such a caring chap, unless someone has a different opinion of course.

So by your reckoning, Hitler, Pol pot, Stalin, Thatcher etc were all entitled to their opinion but it doesn't mean they're wrong?!

Larry, THEY WERE WRONG.

Wow. Calm down a bit mate. You're the only one coming across as an extremist on here.

An opinion cant be wrong! An opinion is somebody's point of view. You and I may think its wrong, but that doesn't mean it is. In their eyes it clearly wasn't.

Yes, generally I am a caring chap. I class myself as a humanist ( I'm not religious), I try to help others whenever I can.

I abhor discrimination and I can't stand bullying.

I am (relative to many others) quite wealthy in terms of income, however in terms of average wages I probably earn just a bit above the national average.

I am very much a family man, with a large extended family, I enjoy football, music and travel.

My politics are... Surprise, suprise... Left wing.

Unlike many on here I do not see the words 'left wing' as an insult. I feel the term left wing in politics actually defines 'empathy'.

Your politics may lie elsewhere, maybe you feel you 'lie to the left' as well?

The thing is I am confident and sure in my views and so when a thread like this arises on foxestalk I do feel I need to give my views.

Oh believe me, I appreciate there are those on here that will simply pass off my views as 'Loony Left'. Please credit me with some intelligence.

I do not strive to change their views. People with right wing views tend to be the most entrenched ( In my opinion - thought I better get that in there).

I try to work on the views of those formulating their opinions, I will do this at every opportunity that arises. Because we live in a democracy (please don't try to put that down to some right wing political ethos), I don't need to convince right wing bigots to change their views (imagine trying to change the views of Jeremy Clarkson), I just need to work on getting a majority to support a left wing view.

Will I succeed? Will I fail? At least I tried.
