FoxinNotts Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 What? Inler's been the best player so far Why aren't we attacking? Inler has not been our best player. Him an Huth have been bang average. They need to get switched on.
filbertstreet Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 what In my defence I have no idea which player is which but one of them's been class, figured it was inler
Raw Dykes Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I'm a bit worried we're in trouble. It looks like we've lost the spark that made us a decent side. We haven't got the players for a back 4, that is clear. The players don't look as motivated as they were. Sort it the fvck out, CR.
Vacamion Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Top 5 doggo things about that half: 1. Grealish's hair and face and mini shinpads. 2. Inler stepping in and winning it, only to look up and lose it. 3. Schlupp has jet lag or something. 4. Albrighton is obvs reluctant to step up against his old club 5. Mahrez remains a tad ball greedy.
benpicko Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 In my defence I have no idea which player is which but one of them's been class, figured it was inler Drinkwater tbh
BlueSi13 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Ugh that was us at our absolute worst, slow, lethargic and our ball retention and composure is absolutely diabolical. Worst in the league by a long long way. 2nd half can't be any worse but we need to step up big time.
HitchinFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 De Laet played as part of the back 3 at the end last season and looked decent so it's not even that, could change it without actually changing players Could do. But De Laet has been a shadow of the player he can be so far....
Sunbury Fox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 They are playing really deep to counter our pace but we daren't push forward to press them cos with 4 at the back we don't want to leave space behind as we're very slow in defence.
Brooksy Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 In my defence I have no idea which player is which but one of them's been class, figured it was inler Were they wearing blue?
Jimothy Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Shocking defending !! Huth watched it go in !! Just watched it back, Huth wouldn't have seen it until it passed him, he had players in front of him.

NewburyFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Awful half of football by us so far, just poor individual performances all over the park and creating jack shit. For those not at the game, Dyer is going through a strenuous warm up with the coach so looks like he'll be coming on. No idea who it will be for as both wingers have been very ineffective. Inler isn't the problem, although he's not having a great game. The formation is leaving us so vulnerable, they're playing between the lines and their pace is causing loads of problems.
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Can see Ulloa Kante and Dyer all coming on at some point.
Ozwin Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Inler looking good against England just shows how slow International football is compared to the Premier League. He's been a second off everything.
dylanlegend Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 It CR insists on sticking with 4-4-2. King on for Inler and Dyer on for Albrighton

I would be more concerned being a Sunderland or Bournemouth supporter
Frank to be Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 It's all well and good calling for fast counter attacks but opponents can counteract it pretty easily just by dropping a bit deeper, which is what villa are doing. If we can't get behind them then there's no point playing two pacy strikers. Get one of them off for Ulloa.
HitchinFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 What? Inler's been the best player so far Why aren't we attacking? Eh? You sure you mean Inler?
Carl the Llama Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Looking for silver linings, Villa have been pretty full on so far which could play into our hands if they tire.
FoxinNotts Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 For me I'd go; Albrighton off Kanté on. Go 4-3-3

Agreed- formation isn't helping!! Trouble is with not was or Beno on the bench we can't really change to 3-5-2. What was Claudio thinking!?

What was Claudio thinking!? De Laet to right centre back I guess, did well there a couple of times last season. Okazaki off for dyer it appears.
Guest Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Would be good to play the ball behind the villa defenders to our strength and not on their heads - there strength. Mahrez having a poor game. Vardy has disappeared. Morgan best defender easily. Drinky best player for us out there. Dyer or Kram for Mahrez I think.
