We build up a huge database/network of potential and possible targets so that when we are looking for a new player, in this case a midfielder ( maybe next year, maybe the year after) we have this guy on our radar and have been tracking him for a couple of years and have a comprehensive file on him. Rather than just panic buying some schmuck who has had a good season.

(Sorry it is early) I wouldn't believe anything written online other than that we had a scout there, we are just casting the net far and wide, people are just putting 2 and 2 together, Leicester scouts are at an FC Porto match, Andre Andre scored = Leicester are looking at Andre Andre, we could have been there to look at Imbula, Nélson Semedo, or Gonçalo Guedes.
