Superb performance with the ball, need to cut out the mistakes when we don't have the ball we matched them first half comfortably but for the set pieces as well if you ask me. Never felt worried from open play.

dorsetboy Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 thats a very defensive line up and tbh im a little dissapointed the way ranieri is going by making us a more defensive set up i was loving the fun counter attacking style of if they score 2 well score 3 thats how we are known . id be all for us playing 4-3-3 with kante,drinkwater and king/inler in the middle and simpson and fuchs as lb/rb to be a bit more solid at the back but with explosive pace up top for the counter with dyer,vardy and mahrez but thats why im not a manager so this is what i posted pre kick off and how that match reflected what i said , first half we looked poor lack of attack and creativity . basically southampton were laughing . second half on comes some pace and flair and we look great with excellent runs ,passes and the excitement returns which flowed through the team . for me that second half is how we should start the next game

dylanlegend Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Another great 2nd half I still think if Claudio goes back to a 3-5-2 we'll be more solid at the back and won't compromise on our attacking play. But I can't see it he loves a 4-4-2. Having said that I would like to see Dyer and Mahrez start the next game
