EGBFitness Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 I'm not usually someone who likes copying other clubs but I went to Ajax v PSV game a few weeks ago and as the players came out for second half Bob Marley Three Little Birds came on and the place erupted! I know there's usually abit of a moan with our ground music choices at times so wondered what everyone's thoughts was? I think the song is pretty fitting to our season as we normally go in at half time losing to pull it back... So no need to worry about a thing =P
filbertstreet Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 better than rolf harris two little boys i guess
Danizen Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 I used to dislike Hey Jude and the jazzed up Post Horn Gallop but they've grown on me now so I'd be against changing it. Which English club has Three Little Birds as an unofficial anthem? Is it Sunderland? Anyway, I think if the club wanted to play something, it would be something safe like the riff from Club Foot. Never Three Little Birds.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 three little birds wouldn't really be appropriate atm, if this was like march then I'd probably say go for it.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Pretty naf song really, sung by half the footballing world. When you're Smiling is a good shout for a good club anthem.

Spudulike Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Still can't understand why we haven't latched onto LSF. Some other club will soon and we'll wonder why we didn't.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Still can't understand why we haven't latched onto LSF. Some other club will soon and we'll wonder why we didn't. Has been tried a few times in SK1 but struggles to get going, which is a shame because it could be absolutely brilliant.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Still can't understand why we haven't latched onto LSF. Some other club will soon and we'll wonder why we didn't. it is like ten years old so I'm not sure why any other club would've waited this long to latch onto it now
KFS Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Still can't understand why we haven't latched onto LSF. Some other club will soon and we'll wonder why we didn't. We've all been saying it for years, needs UFS to grab hold of it IMO. Has been tried a few times in SK1 but struggles to get going, which is a shame because it could be absolutely brilliant. Didn't see this
Kitchandro Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 LSF has never caught on because frankly it's not very good. It doesn't fit a football crowd, the notes are too downbeat. Btw this Bob Marley thing is a terrible idea. It's sad that people are saying 'wys is a good shout for a club anthem' it IS our club anthem and should be treated as such.
Nalis Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Only the Jersey Budd one though, best version If the aim is to bore the opposition to sleep then yeah why not?
Finnegan Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 One of the shit tin pot teams we've played over the last few years sings it, can't remember who. Watford or something.
C-man Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 One of the shit tin pot teams we've played over the last few years sings it, can't remember who. Watford or something. Heard it at least once at home this year. Sunderland or Villa, maybe both. Tells you all you need to know about it tbh.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 I would love When You're Smiling to be played just before KO.
dbtcity Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Went to the allianz a few weeks back and watched 1860 Munich (awful team) before the game they pumped out welcome to the jungle and it was unreal.... can't see us slapping that on the play list but one can wish
Voll Blau Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Sounds great when Ajax do it, would sound shithouse if we did it.
daventry_fox Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 The anderlecht lads at the Bolton game a couple of years ago sang it when we went 1-0 down
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 I thought this was gonna be a story thread about Una's latest conquests...

That post horn remix - it's so unbelievably shit that it actually becomes enjoyable. I actually like how it completely embraces its own naffness. I bet every match there's a few people in the away section asking each other "why the bloody hell is this happening" and they're not in on the joke It must have a puzzling quality on the opposition too cause we always win the second half
