Stadt Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 They changed the kit colour, big wow. It was orange anyway so red is a slight variation. You wouldn't fvcking care at all if it wasn't for this programme. You take it too far, "do not value the club and it's fans", yeah that's why they keep putting their own money into the club. As I said above, many clubs have gone through the same transition. I used Leeds because they are a good example. Me, you and most football fans recognise them for playing in white now but they never used too. Don Revie completely changed the Leeds colours when he took over, but success followed. So do you rekon the fans look back and hate that decision? Shankly turned Liverpool to all red and Taylor wanted to include red in Watford's kit - oh look Watford have had red in their kit ever since. Salford are non league (it's only due to this programme you're banging on about it), so if Salford get success in red - say, promoted to the football league - nobody will care in xxx number of years. It'll just be another kit change. You do realise they changed their club name to "Salford City" in the early 90's? Was that such a terrible decision as well? so you'd be fine if we changed to a purple kit because it's only a slight variation?
Fox92 Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 so you'd be fine if we changed to a purple kit because it's only a slight variation? No. That wasn't my point though.
SystonFox Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Phil Neville comes across as a really nice decent guy. Hard to dislike him tbh, Seems a bit wet if you ask me. Just something I don't quite trust the soppy pleb
bovril Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Scholes always comes across as such a dull fvcker. Like the person that everyone prays doesn't come down the pub.
ScouseFox Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Scholes always comes across as such a dull fvcker. Like the person that everyone prays doesn't come down the pub. yeah I hate him. it can't be that hard to just laugh or say something apart from "yuh" "um" "narh" once in your stupid life you ginger bellend
RonnieTodger Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Gareth Seddon was great value in this show
bovril Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 Finally watched the documentary last night. Was pretty dull at times but had some good footage slightly spoiled by Tyldesley's cringe-tastic commentary. Phil Neville is wonderfully bonkers, you get the feeling if he wasn't a footballer he'd be a really awful but likeable motivational-speaker on team-building weekends in Greater Manchester. Butt and Giggs seem thick as fvck and Scholes just a cvnt. Becks is such a charming, handsome fvcker, I giggled like a schoolgirl every time he opened his mouth. Looking back, what an amazing group of players. I hated United at the time but I feel privileged to have been a teenager during the late 90s with that team and Wenger's Arsenal going at it every year.

Samilktray Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 What did everyone think of the 2nd series? Thought it was another good watch myself but could have done without all the wedding shit
boots60 Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 What should be a celebration of the rise of a small club has turned into a feckin soap opera. Reality non league football. Second series

Butt appeared for about 6 seconds over both series, not sure what the point of him is?
Fox92 Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Is it over now? I enjoyed it. Agree about the Wedding though dunno why it was getting so personal.
Soar Fox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 They might aswell have just called it "The Gareth Seddon show"
ScouseFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 reckon it's all match fixed tbh no way would all those stories go right in real life

Our story came right last season! Theyve just signed Richie Wellens on a free too if anyone didn't know

SystonFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 I'd turn for Seddon. What a guy. That volley in the 90th min.
SystonFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 I want to visit Seddzyz cheese and coffee shop
MrSpaM Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 Wonder if we'll see any of Wellens now he's playing for them
