isaidno Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Who else saw the car driving down Filbert Way after the match when the road was closed ? Was driving towards the fans and honking his horn repeatedly at them . The passenger even got out and had a go at the fans !
Ian W LCFC Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Who else saw the car driving down Filbert Way after the match when the road was closed ? Was driving towards the fans and honking his horn repeatedly at them . The passenger even got out and had a go at the fans !It was bizarre. People were hitting their clappers on the car because it was just bulldozing it's way through, the woman next to it was having a right go. But surely they realised it was a closed road?
VLC86 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Could've been an emergency Diamanti's hairdresser apparently.
davieG Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Wasn't there a bit of an accident before the game on the Raw Dykes Road outside the big stationery shop. By the way Filbert Way is just the short stretch up to the gated entrance off of the raw dykes.
StanSP Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 yep they got some stick cos they kept blaring their horn. I did think it could have been an emergency because you have to be an utter idiot to drive down that road (closed or not) around 5pm on a Saturday afternoon
StanSP Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Was it the White volkswagon golf? thought it was a scirocco but yeah it was a white vw
foxychik Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Yeah they were driving fairly quickly for saying they were going straight at the crowd surprised no one got hurt seemed pretty stupid at the time
fazzyfox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Troy Deeney's ticket office hold up getaway car?

Black estate with a woman driving heading to the traffic lights on Aylestone Road.
Itsblueuptnorth Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 thought it was a scirocco but yeah it was a white vw Probably was a scirocco Tbf.. I thought the driver was fist pumping at one point, but from this thread seem otherwise!!
davieG Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 You sure it wasn't a car that had broken down? Black estate with a woman driving heading to the traffic lights on Aylestone Road. Possible although I thought it was a white one there were 3 cars close together although they were heading to Aylestone road.
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 yep they got some stick cos they kept blaring their horn. I did think it could have been an emergency because you have to be an utter idiot to drive down that road (closed or not) around 5pm on a Saturday afternoon Years ago away at birmingham after the match they let you out the back of the stand and held you there, behind which there was a row of houses. One year some bloke decided to mow his lawn just as we came out and had he to stick it out with a couple of thousand City fans singing at him and taking the piss while he pretended we weren't there.
ozleicester Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Elton John? Nah he's more of a rocket man Maybe his brother Daniel?
jayfox26 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 I heard it was Knockaert rushing to join in the celebrations!
Jimbo Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Was a white vw golf with a woman driver. Could have been slightly before or after I passed it, but as I did it was stationary with some bloke having a right go at them. There was no honking of the horn going on and it certainly wasn't bulldozing it's wat through anything. But she must have been driving it through the crowd at some point to get to where they were. I was just waiting (and slightly hppeful) for some one to jump on the bonnet and run straight over the top of it
Filbert_Ross Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 That was well funny. right clanger. "We'll walk where we want, we'll walk where we want! We're Leicester City, we'll walk where we want "
