Reg Vardy Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 But Liverpool finished 6th last year with 62 points....so ten wins from twenty three games, including Norwich, Bournemouth, Swansea, Newcastle, West Brom, West Ham, Stoke at home......ten wins in twenty three.....every chance of 6th or better......
promised land Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35021767 Scroll down to the 'where does the team top after 15 games finish' chart. Happy days.
HighPeakFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I am prepared to dream - will we ever have a season again like this? Because if we were to win it, I don't think another tilt could ever have the same feeling to it......
FireFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 So only Villa finished lower than 3rd (6th in 1999) after being 1st after 15 games since 1993. I wouldn't be disappointed with 4th or too upset even with 5th or 6th, but it would kinda suck to be one of two anomalies in this case.

ramboacdc Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Imagine if we finished top 4 my bank manager would hate me when he sees the price of away tickets to isreal for the qualifiers!
ARM1968 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Imagine if we win it. We could you know. But for me a top 4 finish would be insane enough.
tom27111 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Imagine if we finished top 4 I think I'd shit myself and burst into tears simultaneously
yorkie1999 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I think the planets could align. Top teams haven't really strengthened this year because they are already full of the best players in the world apart from messi and ronaldo, everyone else has strengthened for fear of relegation because of the mega bucks deal next year. The lower sides are taking points off the top teams. Man city and chelsea have shown they haven't really got strength in depth anyway, 2 players out and they both struggle, plus they've got Europe to worry about. And it now appears everyone is rooting for Leicester to win it, maybe because fans are realizing just how stale and money mad the premiership is becoming. I mean, just how have we become favorites to beat chelsea next monday?
Foxymcoxy Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Everyone is still giving it the "easy fixtures" line, but we are 4th in the calendar year table! That is more than a bit of form in some easy games. 6th or even better is definitely achievable if we can stay focussed and get the bit of luck you need along the way.
Dan Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Shame on a single person who says they'd be happy with top half now. We will never ever get a better chance of winning the league.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Balls to this!! Let's get carried away! It's brilliant
Fox92 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I haven't seen anything to suggest there are team/s better than us. Stoke could have been 4 up against Manchester City at HT.

We definitely should not get ahead of ourselves.
TeamRocket Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 If our fixture was easy does that mean all the othet team are a, not good or b, they had easy fixture too?
Izzy Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 If our fixture was easy does that mean all the othet team are a, not good or b, they had easy fixture too? a, I think?
Littletoe Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Anyone else here be extremely happy just to be in the top half at the end of the season? Anywhere above 10th is a massive bonus for me personally. Not going to lie, I do get the occasional dream of winning the league at the moment... Exciting times for us!!!

Would absolutely be happy with top 10 once I've taken a step back and thought about it. At this stage, however, as a fan it is only natural to set your sights a little bit higher.
Great Boos Up Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 We're Leicester City and will continue keep our position at the top until March and just as I start to truly believe we'll then find brand new and ingenious ways of f**king things up.
VLC86 Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 my bank manager would hate me when he sees the price of away tickets to isreal for the qualifiers! Recon they would love you, come to me if you need a £20k loan mate If we get to Europe I'm at every match no doubt.

Would you seriously be content getting 17pts from the last 23 games? That's relegation form and could mean us losing our best players and being one of the relegation favourites again next season. I'll be gutted to finish outside the top 7 and won't be overly happy with 5th or 6th.
Guest Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Leicester City: the champagne of football clubs. let the good times keep on rolling.
