FFP - It's reared it's ugly head again...

What a helmet, that's one way for his writing talent to get noticed.  Cut and paste job from a year ago.  Why would it be cheating?  Spending your own money to make your business successful.

Man City/PSG had to pay a fine, that means they were guilty, which by his logic makes them cheats.

FFP is stupid. You've got clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City who just spend, spend, spend but can afford to pay the fine too. Are Manchester City cheats? PSG? Being top of the league has nothing to do with "cheating".

The worst kind of Journalism. Stinks of a reporter having a slow day and desperately trying to get something on his Editors desk to fill a bit of web/page space. It seems like it's a check list these days, "right, we've had a racism angle, blood doping, transfer speculation...time to bring the FFP stories out again".

It's annoying because people read this bollocks and then take it as gospel. I'm a trainee journalist myself and stuff like this really winds me up.

Just because a so called unfashionable club like Leicester City are doing so well at the top of the premier league and not a fashionable London or Manchester club ,some little toad faced rat scum of the earth journalist writes a pile of shite like that all because lowly Leicester city dare to take on the big boys at their own game and achieve better results FAIRLY taking them to the summit of the best league in the world giving a glimmer of hope of someone other than those so called big boys a shot at the league title !!

The journalist is probably a paid up member of the Jose and Roman Arse kissers society and as they're under achieving overpaid injury feining prima donnas are heading the wrong way down the table the ass kisser is so jealous at Leicester's success and puts pen to paper on this load of hog wash, the only place this article is worth ending up is the bottom of a cat litter tray just where it belongs just as this journalists talent lies !!

So all we can say to the jealous tw@s is enjoy watching our Leicester city as much as we are and it's about time the league title went to a different team,so go stuff you're crappy little article where the sun doesn't shine and kiss our blue Leicester City arses !! (!)

The reporter is known for reporting every few months with the same story.

With QPR likely to pay at most 10%-15% of their original loss figure, this will set a precedent. Considering our top figure is around £12m, I can't see what there is to worry about.

Personally, I wish we would go to court if the football league wanted to play tough, as FFP rules must be illegal under European law as no statutes are being broken and must be considered restraint of trade and infringing the owners human rights to run their business. Who are the football league to say our audited accounts are fraudulent when they have been signed off by respected auditors.

It would certainly cast a (minor) shadow over our season, but - as others have said - a fine is not certain, and in any case won't be big enough to harm us (which is actually one of the problems with the whole FFP enforcement procedure).

The comment about "cheating" is quite strong - but if you take your blue-tinted specs off for a second, he's got a point.

I mean if it turns out we knowingly flouted agreed spending rules so as to gain an advantage over our competitors who were respecting them...it's not that wide of the mark it it?

I suspect the over spending if indeed  there was any could mostly be put down to the Sven era and due to the length of the contracts couldn't  be cleared in the time allowed.

The only reason our competitors were seemingly respecting them was because they're all broke.
