Babylon Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 What a load of absolute shit. Cheat? I'm sorry there was nothing to say you couldn't spend that money, just that you would be fined if you did.
ScouseFox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Yet, there is a huge unanswered question about Leicester City’s extraordinary metamorphosis into title contenders, which is: did they cheat their way there? lmao
Jordan Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 If Leicester have to pay a fine (which is by no means a guarantee), then they'll pay the fine.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Hasn't this been done to death already? As I understand, we aren't paying out what we can't afford. Move on.
ScouseFox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 how much money do we get from being in the champions league next season? we could probably pay the fine and a 20% tip to the bellend who wrote this and top n his lids still wouldn't even notice the money was gone. wouldn't even be a story if we were west bromming it in the bottom half. the media need dirt on us and quick, scenes if this is all they've got.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Talking of rearing ugly head
Vlad the Fox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Quickly scrolling through it doesn't seem as if there is anything we don't already know in there, nothing to worry about. We're hot stuff at the minute and as such we are going to have to endure all kinds of so called news about the club and players.
Captain... Should we be concerned? No If we get fined £20m, which seeing as they couldn't make it stick to QPR and that article seems to be very speculative, I can't see happening, but if they do fine us £20m, then we will just pay it an move on, we are guaranteed £100m+ next season (should we stay up) and £68m+ prize money this season, which could be substantial, and a possible European jaunt to boost the coffers, and assets like Mahrez and Vardy shooting up in value, a £20m fine would be annoying, but nothing more.

Captain... Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 The deal helped boost Leicester’s income by almost 60 per cent from £19.6m in 2013 to £31.2m 12 months later. Trestellar was set up almost three years ago, with the nature of its business listed by Companies House as being “management consultancy activities other than financial management”. The firm’s address is listed as a small business park in Sheffield, and back in March, it did not have its own website or telephone number. Attempts on Weenesday by Inside Sport to ascertain whether that had changed proved fruitless. Also, why would we get a £20m fine when the money in question is just over £11m? The bit about Trestellar seems a bit dodgy, but nothing that screams fraud or anything.
Finnegan Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Just some hack trying to be edgy and take an alternative view of all the Leicester hype. How anyone could complain with a straight face about our money spending when we've got two players worth a combined 1.5m out-scoring about 500m+ worth of "top four" talent is beyond me.
mackiepas Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Always someone trying to derail us... some jumped up snotty nosed jobs worth journo trying to un-hinge our season cuz his team arn't top.. Probably been paid off by Mouriniho to disrupt our morale
ithuriel Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Second rate hack riding on the coat tails of a success story by trying to find any dirt he can, barely even registers and that article was not worth my time.
Always Next Year Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Shit Shovelers wanted to clean up dog walking parks in Leicester, BEM RUMSBY please contact for details.
Dan Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Complete non-story. Yeah, boot them out, lets get someone like Forest or Blackburn in.
crisp packet Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 They have built us up? now they want to knock us... It's the English way ! Cheats
Vlad the Fox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 In that case I should imagine half the championship are cheating this season, and those that aren't are under an embargo for cheating in past seasons. I'm glad we're out of that league of filthy no good cheats.
Out Foxed Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 considering the people involved with trestellar i think we all agreed on here at the time it was at least a little bit dodge.
MooseBreath Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 The idea of FFP was supposed to be to prevent reckless overspending and in doing so protect clubs. By trying to pin a fine on the club because of a perfectly legal business deal that did us no harm whatsoever they're a million miles away from their remit and for the good of the game should just pack up and go home. There is enough corruption in football without shady regulations like FFP trying to extract money from honest clubs like Leicester. Worst case scenario we pay a relatively small fine but I hope the club keep fighting the grubby regulators.
GaelicFox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Take the link down ! As I learned from other postings they put these shit blogs up to get advertising revenue from driving up through traffic on the site It's a rehashed story and it's utter pigs shitings Take the link down !
Danizen Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 During our title winning season, we were still shaking off Sven's legacy and cutting back (I'm sure we received more money in transfer fees than we spent) whereas QPR and Reading were filling their squads with expensive players from Premier League clubs without a moments thought. If they enforce our fine which would be about £12m, they will have to enforce QPR's too which would absolutely ruin them. It's nothing to worry about. For now and the foreseeable future, we're out of the Football League's jurisdiction and still perfectly capable of paying off any fine.
demon_dog Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Nothing we don't know about, just some London based journo trying to make an issue of little Leicester "cheating" their way to top of the Premiership. What we done bribed the rest of the league! :xmasohmy: :xmasohmy: :xmasohmy: :xmasohmy: :xmasohmy:
