Micky Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Does anyone know why he had an operation yesterday? I thought he just had a hamstring injury?
st albans fox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Does anyone know why he had an operation yesterday? I thought he just had a hamstring injury? No info but I wonder if he had a niggling injury which needed an op and the fact that the hamstring will keep him out for 4/6 weeks made it an ideal opportunity to carry it out?
foxes21 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Chilwell > Schlupp Seriously where does Schlupp fit into the side? You can tell Chilwell is a proper left back. Schlupp is not. Schlupp goes missing in games when he's on the wing and hardly effects the game like Mahrez or Albrighton do. If we sign Carrillo, that's Riyad, Albrighton, Carrillo & Gray who are all better wingers then him imo. So where does Schlupp fit in? Granted he is young and can develop his game to be a great full back. But right now, Fuchs and Chilwell are clearly better at left back. Could he be back up for Riyad at right wing, cutting in on his left? Who knows, but like I said he doesn't impact the game enough from the wing.
EnglishOxide Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Schluup can fit in anywhere on the left side or even go back up front with his pace and athleticism!
foxfanazer Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Well he's definitely in front of Kramaric in the pecking order for a strikers place

Have you recently become a Leicester fan or have you always been a twat? He fits on the left side or up front, he's improved at defending whilst being in the Prem, pressurises players to fit in out style, has a good attitude and is a part of our teams charisma. Young, fast, pops up with goals, doesnt do alot wrong. Support Leicester City players please, I dont know why some people need telling
Vindaloo FOX Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 if he was fit would have liked Jeff on instead of Albrighton .
Nick Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Schlupp sadly will be used as a utility player - he's great to have on the bench and on the pitch to close out games because he plays in 3 positions in a steady fashion with great pace.
Jimmy Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 if he was fit would have liked Jeff on instead of Albrighton . he would have started in place of Dyer
Chester Dontlie Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I think The Unbelievable Jeff still has a role to play in this side. I believe he could be the ultimate secret weapon that will help LCFC to claim the title... Everyone believes so where I live. I'd like to see him back already. At the very least he can be super-sub and he's fun to watch
Jaspa Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Apols for the earlier post, not all new fans are twats you're all appreciated for your own ways. Just really dont like criticism for people who have nothing to deserve it, its hardy constructive
foxes21 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Well I've supported the foxes since 94, so I wouldn't call myself a new fan. But I just wanted to know where Jeff fits into this team.

Its just a throw away attitude you see with 'big clubs' fans mate, I cant see what else youre getting at - Where does he fit in = Get rid on 'im (In many cases on here anyway) Nowt personal just aggravates me sometimes
LAprice_ Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Schlupp can be a dangerous weapon. Defenders do not like playing against him. He's quick, strong and unpredictable. Sometimes too unpredictable for his own good. His biggest problem is his biggest strength and that's his versatility. He can't hold down one single position and master it because he's always needed to fill in elsewhere. He's a great player for the squad and I'm sure plenty of Premier League clubs would love to have him.

I'm getting pretty tired of so called fans dissing our players. Schluup has been a fantastic player for us. With the season we are having every player has done their part and don't deserve to be talked about like they are shit or should be replaced.
Grewks Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I don't agree that his versatility is his biggest weakness.....in my opinion its the best chance he has of getting in the team.
UPinCarolina Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Schlupp may fall victim to the changing roles I think we'll see in the next few weeks...but he's like a Swiss army knife. You need those guys. They allow you to keep more speciality players on the bench and be a more well-rounded side.

Len Finsbury Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Well he's definitely in front of Kramaric in the pecking order for a strikers place I'm ahead of Kramaric in the pecking order for a striker's place!
Jimmy Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Could we use him as a target man I'd bet he wins more headers than Leo
Father Ted Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Jeff is an outstanding asset for us, we have missed him hugely in recent weeks. Anyone who thinks he can be discarded now is nothing short of an idiot. There's a reason why the players themselves voted him as player of the season.
ScouseFox Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 probably our fourth choice winger and twenty fourth choice left back. he needs to make up a new position pretty soon. wonder if hes any good in goal? Could we use him as a target man I'd bet he wins more headers than Leo lmao
