Just as an aside when thinking about the quality of player we could attract and the wages issue. Now it's not quite what clubs should be doing, but didn't QPR sign Chris Samba from a club for 14m on the understanding they could sell him back for the same minus a fee then paid him 120k a week so it's an insurance against not making top 4?

No one has mentioned Slimani.  I don't know what he's been doing since we enquired about him in the summer, but as Claudio said we will only go after players we looked at then, I wonder whether we will renew our interest ?  We had unsuccessful bids for Gray and Amartey and now they're with us - could Slimani be the third ?

Have a look at yourself. He was dross last year. his highlight was s prong against us! He can barely sprint. We don't need someone to teach our strikers how to score - we need someone to take the pressure off JV and contribute the goals to get us over the line into the CL.

o take your point, but clearly we did the year we brought Philips in. But yes we have moved on now. Experience of top level pressure and know how is invaluable. But yes I concede it won't be him. Was just a thought though as said before

I genuinely am not interested about knowing who it is. He can DM a mod who can then tell us all if it's true and I'll donate the money

It's infuriating when people just make things up to satisfy there twisted fantasies.

Let's hope he's telling the true. Let's hope it is a massive name that if mentioned on foxestalks may scupper the deal, but come let's be a little realistic. He's winding everyone up

It's not even the point whether it's true or not.

 

Why make a comment like that if you can't actually explain what you mean? Because if you can't, people are well within their rights to call you an attention seeking prat. 

It is an ego thing, a 'look at me I know something you don't' complex.

 

If you can't supply details, don't say anything at all. There's no need unless you're on the wind up.
