That basically sums it up and I'd even fillet that down to Remy and Dzeko as it's a big ask even for someone as good as Lacazette to settle in day one. 15 games to go leaves Remy and Dzeko for me.

Iv heard he's been absolute gash at Roma...

Doesn't mean anything though. So many factors involved. Loan until the summer and then offer a contract on a free. Smells like a Leicester deal

Haha! Lets get personal. This is an internet forum and people can post what they like. If you don't like it, either ignore or criticise the post. If you think I am a fool based on a couple of comments then the real fool might be a lot closer to home.

Keep hearing this story that we are making a high profile signing next week.  Edin Dzeko could be a good shout - would certainly be an interesting addition!

Interesting stuff Micky!!! Hope we get a strong, mobile striker who works his nuts off. Can't think of many, but i'm sure if any scouts can unearth someone ours can. A 22 year old, cheap, foreign Deeney is what we need!

It's obvious you trying to promote your own ego. People reply with the generic "please tell.... DM me I won't tell anyone.... And you reply straight away with the standard I can't tell because it'll ruin the deal!!! Just re read that post. It will ruin the deal if you post on a forum that you might know who the club are looking to sign!! How ridiculous does that sound. It's people like you that make this section of the forum a complete waste of time

Also Calling you a fool isn't getting personal. As you said it's a forum and people can post what they want so please carry on. We all really appreciate your input

Sunday Times has us head to head with Spurs for Sandro Ramirez. Can't quite see a Spanish U21 striker making an impact in his first 15 games in the PL. Dzeko or Benteke for me

Benteke's okay up to a point but far too limited for what we need.

To be fair to micky, I have known stuff in the past and wanting to let people know without telling anything of any detail is impossible. Fwiw, we know that we are trying to bring a striker in and we know that the management wouldn't pre publicise one for the future as being anything other than that. So the likelihood is that we are bringing in someone who should be good enough to hit the ground running. I doubt the club would jeopardise the spirit of the camp with someone who hasn't got what it takes. If we are buying now, it is to ensure we make the top 4. Makes sense to buy someone now who can play in the CL next season. just got to think of a high profile striker who is a hard worker and who is already out of the CL. There are a few around. Remy isn't one of them on a few levels.

And before anyone asks, I can't tell you what I knew! (And I don't have an ego)

My own ego... how the hell is that possible on an internet forum? Anyhow, thanks for your comments and we can all look forward to an exciting week.
