To be honest I will be happy with all the strikers we've been linked with! Doesn't really bother me which one we get as they will be an improvement to what we current have.

Spot on. Literally exactly what I was just about to post myself. Likewise I'm pretty happy with who we've been linked with, whoever the club brings in, I have faith they are all going to improve the squad.

Surely we know by now it's one in and NOT one out till we KNOW the one in is better ..... We don't want 3 out on loan to some German team.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but do we know how long Okazaki is out for? Like others I got the impression we already had somebody lined up. So with the bid for Eder only going in on the last couple of days, could he be out for a while? Which would mean we need cover plus another?!

I have a feeling that whoever we sign, they might not actually start for us at all for the rest of the season! They would simply be back up IF Vardy gets injured and will come on as a sub for Okazaki / Vardy in matches.

 

I've got no problems with this either. This is the best chance we will ever have to win the title. If we can't do that we have such a good opportunity to get into the Champions League which could move the club into a new era.

 

I applaud the owners for making this move (if we sign someone). There is a risk we upset the squad balance, but we've got to go for it! Worst case scenario we sign a dud who we sell at a big loss next season, but best case we sign someone who is class and who chips in with the additional firepower and pressing up top ala Vardy to secure us a top 3 position!

 

Of the strikers we've been linked with I'd go for Remy purely because he is used to the league, even though he's a mercenary. Dream signing would be someone like Morata or Texeira that has been linked with Liverpool. Don't think we'll get either of those though!

Just putting it out there, what if Eder isn't the striker we are signing...

It's OK because we seem to be signing at least another five strikers in this window, all for £10m each.

Yeah it's all part of the negotiation process.

What if we are after Eder as a winger.. And another player as a striker?
