Russell sprout Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 It's madness,to think we are in a 'title race' let alone challenging for a top 4 finish,I'm desperate to get 3rd at worst,as if we come 4th we'll be in cl priliminary rounds and will probably get a quality Spanish team and get knocked out,abit like Everton against Villarreal a few years back,would love automatic qualification
Strokes Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I still can't see us winning it, it's just way to a surreal thought. I'm still not sold on a top four finish, if we are still 9 or more points clear after these next three games I'll join that wagon.

To think we're what,22 points ahead? The tables pritty much as you would expect this time of year but for us and Chelsea swapping positions,and I would have took that at the start.

Arsenal have Champions league games to play and FA cup to play. Man City have Champions league games to play and FA cup to play and Capital One cup games to play. Spurs have Europe League games toplay and FA cup to play. this will 100% help us hugely, those 3 teams we will playing European games again shortly, coming up..

And the way I see it : 1- Man-City 2- Leicester 3- Arsenal 4- Liverpool Hope am right/wrong ! (Mix feeling cause I want top and don't want 5+) So if you want really the tittle....Go win the next two games right there, Liverpool and ManCity. Then, you can afford even loosing to Arsenal, no worries, cause I believe other clubs will take care of Arsenal ultimately .

I fully don't expect us to win the league, admittedly if we do I'll be running around highcross naked with a blue and white willy warmer on. This season is the proudest I've ever been as a Leicester City fan. I remember the times everytime we played Forest or Derby this place would be invaded with their fans trying to bait us, and now to think we're top of the league is remarkable. We could lose every single game from now on, but to say we have been top of the Premier League for over a month this season makes me feel great. I remember once my Dad telling me, 'You will see glory days again lad as a Leicester fan.' Enjoy and marvel in them that are happening right now. It makes me proud to be a Leicester fan. It makes me proud to say I stuck with us in League One. Infact I delivered free s*itty papers when we were in League One and would always read the articles written on us. We've stuck with this club through thick and thin. Although at times we've waited some of us in our support, and doubted things at times. But let's enjoy these times. To Leicester!

( but they wont) If Vardy and Mehrez have a similar second half of the season than they did the first then we can win it. (Also, if we buy a striker that hits the ground running) If Kane stays fit Spurs have a chance. But I don't this this will be there year. I think there young squad will run out of stream. (I bloody hope so anyway, hate spurs) But for me if Arsenal. Arsenal Leicester Man city Spurs. *Hope so anyway so my fiver at 1500/1 each way comes in. ;-)
teblin Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 There is no pressure on us to win it at all. We just need to carry on doing what we have. 15 cup finals now, high energy pace. Who knows what can happen. We were supposed to have fallen away by now but we haven't, so who knows.

I hate when news starts talking about a four/there/two horse race. We forget how many games we lost last season and where Leicester were it only takes something like that to push them down the table. As far as I'm concerned it's an 18 horse race
