baldeagle Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 When you look at the complete dross we've signed in the past, then look at the quality of this player compared . This speaks volumes off how far we have come if people are disappointed
Bluetintedspecs Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I'm not sure !!!! State of confusion? Get to the GPs asap to rule out serious ailments.
Robin JD Popley Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 We are on the brink of signing a French International Striker with proven Premier League pedigree. LOIC REMY people! I think some of us would moan if we were about to sign the most decorated living Argentinian player...

KingKante Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Liked this guy when he was playing in a Newcastle and QPR shirt, and always thought he looked good in those 'lesser' teams, so he should fit us quiet well, obviously wants game time and being on the Chelsea bench isn't all that it's cracked up to be!

Robin JD Popley Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Too right. Don't want maradona. I swear Esteban won more...they made a massive point about it last season? Sorry if that info isn't correct. EDIT: Esteban Cambiasso has won the Champions League, five Serie A titles, La Liga and is the most decorated footballer to hail from Argentina. (Source John Percy) In all honesty though what do people want. Neymar? Messi? Ronaldo? JESUS WEPT.

""***Whereas Remy doesn't even need to be playing to get an injury.£12m for a player with an injury track record as bad as his has been for the last two years? Yes please. ***"" From the Chelsea forum... Still think £12mill is good value? Plus he is CURRENTLY injured http://www.theshedend.com/topic/26605-welcome-loic-remy/page-33#entry1136986
ARTY_FOX Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Remy would be a fantastic signing for us. I'm sure of it
Guest ttfn Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I think he'd be a great signing but I'm not totally sure he gets in our first XI.

foxes161 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Given who we used to sign then yes he would be a great signing.
Guest Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Given who we used to sign then yes he would be a great signing. Well I'm not sure we should be using Josh Low as a yardstick for all future signings
foxes_rule1978 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 So he becomes our most expensive signing... we know how the last two turned out
foxes161 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Well I'm not sure we should be using Josh Low as a yardstick for all future signings facts remain 11 million if true is a bargain for what he could provide.
FoxesFourLife Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Would be a good signing would he pass the medical though?
Hereford:Fox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Not convinced with Remy to be honest, 12 mil for a player who won't necessarily improve our starting 11. Depth wise yes good signing
Babylon Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I'm calling bullshit... Still nothing from decent sources, other then rehashed stuff from the Espn bloke.
Brooksy Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I'm calling bullshit... Still nothing from decent sources, other then rehashed stuff from the Espn bloke. Same here. Not looking good is it
FoxyLurvin' Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Loic Remy has a very slim chance of making the Euros with the French squad this summer - at 29 he won't get another chace to play in a major international tournament I would think. He knows that he will have to do everything right from now until the end of the season and that would mean working harder than he has in his recent exploits. We have great medical staff and IF we can keep him fit he would certainly add strength and depth the squad in attack. I would guess he would be taking a pay cut coming here and that gives me some confidence that he is prepared to work hard and make an impression for the above reason. Of course, the above is based on the fact that he has agreed to join us and the business is as good as done (if not already complete).

It's full of lunatics , makes FT look like a hipster coffee shop discussing the psycho-social make up of Bruce Springsteen !

Thracian Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Would be a good signing would he pass the medical though? Haha let Vardy give him the medical - he'd pass with two broken legs!
