artursteppe Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I've got a good feeling about this guy. He is quick, he is strong, there does seem to be a bit of the animal about him, whenever I have seen him play he is very enthusiastic, he doesn't pussy around, and his scoring record is better per game at Prem level than most of the strikers playing at the moment. The price seems to be very good to me, and he will be hungry and feel he has a lot to prove. This could be an absolute masterstroke.
davieG Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I'm not convinced he has to play our way as we should also be looking players that offer something different as we're bound to come up against teams that will feel the only way to get anything from us is to play deep he would offer something different
nickm Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Watched him come on for Chelsea at the weekend and was apalled at his first touch, his effort and his attitude-proper beckford clone

He scores goals and we make loads of chances. We need a penalty taker as well as with our pace going forward we do get a few penalties. In the position we are in his goals with what we already have could turn a couple of draws to wins and losses to draws. I've always though that a natural goalscorer would flourish playing alongside vardy. Let's face it who would want to play against vardy and Remy..
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Smacks of desperation . Hope it's not true.Funnily enough that's exactly what I thought when I met the first wife . . . .
Samilktray Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Are we really in a position to turn our noses up at Loic Remy?
Legend fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I just don't like or rate him sorry. Hopefully not happening.
MakingEmileOfIt Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Loic Remy is a proven premier league striker, why are people turning their noses up?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Are we really in a position to turn our noses up at Loic Remy? Yes
Wrighty22 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 We have to ask ourselves if he is an improvement on what we have, I.e. Okazaki and Ulloa
desertfox2 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 We have to ask ourselves if he is an improvement on what we have, I.e. Okazaki and Ulloa Yes he is.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Yes he is. Only when he plays, which with his injuries isn't often. 11.5 million would be great business if he stays injury free though
Tuna Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 This ain't happening lads. Can feel it in me bones.
Nick Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 If he can play with pressing harrying energy and stay fit, he'll be perfect. If. In Claudio we trust?
Blackpool Fox 69 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Are we really in a position to turn our noses up at Loic Remy? Definitely, the sum of our team is greater than the individual parts, our spirit and work ethic are 50% and the players the other 50%, Remy on big wages being lazy risks upturning the apple cart, not worth the gamble.

whoareyaaa Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 28 Goals over 44 starts in the Prem with QPR, Newcastle and Chelsea. not bad at all. he is always in the right place at the right time, knows where the goal is and has some pace and ability about him. anyone turning there noses up at this need to get real.
foxfanazer Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Our league position really is going to some peoples heads. Remy would be a cracking signing. Wonderful finisher if you rate him on more than 20 minutes against Arsenal
Grey Fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 This thread is lacking a YouTube video to remind us of what he can do: Another for good measure:
m4DD0gg Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 We have to ask ourselves if he is an improvement on what we have, I.e. Okazaki and Ulloa
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Liked the idea of him coming from the start.
foxfanazer Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 We have to ask ourselves if he is an improvement on what we have, I.e. Okazaki and UlloaSo obviously yes then
