Leicester fans would moan if we had Messi playing for us, its absolutely pathetic. Riyad is a creative player and by nature that means he tries to do things that create good chances for us. They will not always come off. If he managed to play and everything he did came off we would win 10-0 every game.

Get a bloody grip. This guy is a privilege to watch and one of if not the most technically gifted players we have had for 30 years. Suppose you all want Josh Low back as well. I give up.

Absolutely spot on.

To those few we say the saying that goes ...: "those who've been given a blessing and are not grateful, will wake up one day stripped from those blessings without them knowing" (excuse the bad translation but am sure u get the point)

Did anyone hear on the nbc commentary with Waddle and Champion that we are looking to expand the stadium. I know there has been rumblings but Champion seemed to think it was happening. He said something along the lines of 'The Thai owners are expanding the KP to 43k' can anyone confirm or deny whether this could happen?

Can confirm it was said I was on that stream as well

So my Liverpool supporting boss comes in today and plays the old possession card.

 

I wasn't actually in the office yet but apparently he said we weren't any better than them.

I sit opposite a Liverpool season ticket holder and she said it was an awful game and there were only two moments of quality and we scored from them both.

Be realistic...right now Messi would be a bench warmer at best. Within a matter of months he'd find himself loaned out to Hoffenheim.

What about the one touch passing before the penalty claim and Mingnolet's world class save from Mahrez plus Riyad's other shots from outside the box? Weren't they moments of quality?

Hi there, Think Liverpool fans have been some of the most balanced and gracious of all. Think you've summed it up pretty well. I was right behind Mahrez's curler that Minolet tipped over. Shame coz it was a glorious first time shot. Got to hand it to Vardy, he really give sit all for every second he's on the pitch, whereas Riyad can look a little light at times. All the best and hope you find your form by the time you meet Man City and Spurs!

Yup Vardy.  He's maintained it much longer throughout the season.  Riyad was SPECTACULAR until about December but then has dropped off.  Hopefully he will get back to his best (which is looks like) for the run in.

 

I wouldn't underestimate the impact of Kante in the middle but Vardy for me still

For what it's worth, if you were top and we had no chance, I'd be rooting for you to win it. It would make a nice change from the usual, even if it wouldn't be quite as nice a change as us winning it would be.

 

Didn't think you were poor last night, really. Just not clinical enough on the night, mainly. What do you make of Klopp so far?

 

I'd pick Vardy or Kante. Mahrez is class when he's in the mood, but he is still pretty inconsistent. The other two have very rarely had an off day this season.

Thanks. Klopp is definitely an upgrade on BR, but he's still trying to work the PL out, and he's been dealt a pretty poor hand both with the quality and injuries. I've written off this season as him learning the league and which players he wants to keep in the summer. Next season will be the big test.

I do wonder if the high pressing style has had an bearing on those injuries. Assuming he gets everyone in shape over the summer, think you could do very well next year.

Would have been great, but you can't really think about that, teams miss penalties in vital matches. It is how you respond we haven't let our heads drop and continue to win matches...

Remember when we couldn't ever win back to back matches lol

But everyone else who has taken one this season has scored   7 points clear  and even I would think  90% certain to win it
