Jimothy Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Tough one to call and all though whole team have been amazing this season I think it comes down to the three winning the pole. Kante has been the engine in our team and breaks up so much play and gets us on the counter attack. Mahrez is just a magician with his play and on his day he is unstoppable. Vardy with his closing down and non stop running and 18 goals has been amazing. For me so far it would have to be......... VARDY play of the season. VARDY goal of the season against Liverpool. KANTE young play of the season Mahrez just missing out Kante is 25 next month. Young player awards are usually for 23 and under.
Harry - LCFC Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 In every POTS poll I've voted in there's normally been a candidate who stands out to me, if only slightly. When we get asked to vote at the end this season that won't be the case at all.
norwichfox Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 I was enjoying a nice comfortable afternoon in front of the TV, and you try and fcuk with my head with a trick question like this ....there is no correct answer, we're just an outstanding team
Finnaldo Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Simply can't decide. You could break it up to defender, midfielder and striker and other than the latter it would still be a close run thing
Fox42 Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 The fact not one of you can quite underpin who deserves the title of POTY (myself included) clearly illustrates that the players work together as one, solid unit as opposed to a few gems standing out above the rest. All the teams below us may have shown their qualities INDIVIDUALLY but collectively none of them have shown near as much heart, leadership and determination as we have, hence almost the entire team can be included in the running of POTY.
Bamba's Babes Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Mahrez is our best player Vardy is our goalscorer Kante is our engine Drinkwater pulls our strings Morgan and Huth are our foundations So I'll go for Jeff.
Babylon Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Incredibly difficult to pick as they all bring such different things. Mahrez is the most skilful, but Vardy and Kante are more consistent with their level of performance. Mahrez' flashes of brilliance are better than anyone else's, but he can spend 89 minutes doing bugger all sometimes. Kante turns up game after game, for 90 minutes. Vardy not as much but still more consistent than Mahrez.
UPinCarolina Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Kram, due to the sheer number of pages devoted on FT.
foxfanazer Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Vardy. The improvements he's made to his game are astonishing, what a man! Kante, Mahrez and Fuchs have been amazing too. Can't ignore Drinky, Big Wes's contributions either
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 For me, has to be Mahrez. His goals alone, are far superior to ANY midfielder in the league. Then add his assists. Vardy's goal tally could be half what it is. Add to all that his incredible dribbling, skill, nutmegs, turns!!! He's not only our player of the year he is the premiership poty!!!! Kante Vardy very close second....
The Doctor Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Impossible to pick one of them since everything about is the team benefitting from each other, but mahrez will take the gongs
AS78UK Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Kante is the catalyst of turning defence into attack. Best midfielder in the premier league. Vardy brings you goals and his turn form this year in front of goal has been incredible. Mahrez, words can't describe how good a player he is, pure magic. Kante got my vote, but in reality don't think you can split these three. Drinky and Morgan are not far behind them. Simpson, Fuchs and Schmichael have been amazing too. What a team!
Kitchandro Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Vardy. Without him the season falls apart. Our most important player by a distance.

Also I think it's harder for the 'flair' players to produce magic every game than it is for our 'engines' to run.
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 It's also worth mentioning Hazard won the poty award with less goals AND fewer assists than Mahrez has currently.
foxfanazer Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 I think Vardy epitomizes the mentality of the squad more than anybody else
TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Vardy sets the tone for the team. Simple as.
StanSP Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Kante. Just. Love what the whole squad are doing. Togetherness and spirit and character and everyone on the same wavelength means everyone has had their own part to play in what has been a magnificent already. Mahrez and Vardy are the 2 headline-grabbers. Kante is almost an unsung hero behind them 2. But every player right now would have some justification for their outstanding performances.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Difficult, but i'm going for the unsung hero vote. It's gotta be drinky. Up the foxes.
MattCan Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 When I summon the names of Maradona or Messi, which Leicester player comes to mind? Nuff said.
KarlosSK4-LCFC4-ever! Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Think Schmeichael gets overlooked a lot! Although I have voted Mahrez for player of season!!! Most Vardy goals are from his assist to be fair
Kinowe Soorie Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Morgan and Huth have been outstanding! Just saying like
KarlosSK4-LCFC4-ever! Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Whole team should get the prize! I don't truly believe there's a premier league fan out there that does not want Leicester to win the league!! Mahrez player of season for me,
