I wonder just how much he's a footer fan. As I recall David Mellor hails from Dorset so perhaps should have been a Cherry. His constituency was Putney - fair enough, not too far from Fulham - but obviously deciding that their were more than enough 'cottagers' in the Tory Party at the time, defected to Chelsea purchasing a season ticket up John Major's arse in the process.

He rode into Bosworth, belonging to the House of York, but stopped for a Maryland Chicken and was spotted singing, "YUKI, HE'LL EAT YER FOOKING DOG," and got his army to sign a petition for a Keith Weller statue outside the megastore.
