Hi guys,

 

I just wanted to clear something up. There has been a lot of talk about Leicester winning the league in the recent weeks, it is simply unrealistic to imagine so we need to stamp it out now.

 

We risk ruining our season by putting too much pressure on the players so I think we really need to stop focusing on winning the league and focus more on what is realistic, the Europa League. 

 

The Europa League would be a good season for us so lets focus on that and when it actually does happen at the end of the season we will see it as a positive result rather than a disappointment.

And this needed a thread because.......

Europa league would mean we'd have to hit relegation form from now til the end of the season. People being optimistic isn't going to negatively affect our players

Ridiculous thread, we're top by 2 points and have probably the best chance we'll ever have. 4th is a great result, top 3 is amazing and yes winning the title still seems a pipedream but we've the run in, ability and team spirit we have mustered, we have a very plausible chance of doing the unthinkable.

Big Matty says we can win it and I'm not going to disagree with him.

Arse and Spurs have just too many high pressure Euro games and both have a history of bottling it when it really counts. I think our wee bit of bad fortune last weekend will have ironically worked in our favour. Arse's 'lap of honour' will work against them.

It's ours, trust me.

For some pathetic clubs top four year in year out is seen as a great success however big their wage bill, allowing them to qualify for a tournament they come nowhere close to winning. They celebrate it and extend the contract of their manager (it gets extended but he "does not see" it) to continue his preaching that football should be a non contact sport (unless it's his players initiating the contact) and celebrate further that they finished above their neighbouring club. We are different, looking up not down, finishing higher than our nearest neighbours not really a priority. We just need to work on our naievity of leaving referees alone at half time.
