this is a ****ing piss take who ever it is down to.

Who the **** wants to play at half 1 on a Sunday no one, everyone is hungover from the night before players are used to playing either at 3pm on a saturday or at 7.45 midweek.

Sunday is bollox in every single way for the players and the fans.

If you are hung over every week still at 1:30 I think you need to assess your life!

Some one needs to start a poll where would you prefer to be with 12 games to go.

- Top of the league  - all eyes on us on this fairy-tale like year

- Middle Table - Losing at home to Stoke but beating Norwich away

- Bottom and being apart of survival Sunday - all eye on us for one week of the season

I was going to put the championship as a an option but I don't think they are all 3 o'clock games for the so called bigger teams Wolves, Leeds, Middlesbrough have had 10+ games moved for TV which include Thursday, Friday and Sunday games.

I guess league one is the only place you will get all 3 o'clock games - yes that was fun for a while but come on we are over them days. We are top of the top league in Europe of course our games are going to get moved, look at Madrid and Barca their games are all over the shop.

It is unfortunate if you work on Sunday's I get that but lets face it you take that risk buying a season ticket.

It's not a p1sstake though, is it?

The league of which our club is a member sold itself to TV companies decades ago. Due to the popularity of the league, that value continues to rise. Sky want to show the best games and they have paid handsomely to do so, paying tens of millions of pounds to each club.

Also, not everyone is hungover on a Sunday morning. Believe it or not, some people don't go out and get smashed out of their heads every Saturday night.

I doubt it makes much difference to the players. They are professionals and will be well prepared whatever the time of kick off.

OK its not a pisstake.

Besides, none of the games is taking place on a Sunday MORNING from what I can tell.

Moving 5 games straight to a different day is not a piss take? Late/Early Saturday kick offs aren't too bad, but every single game moved to a sunday is pathetic.

I have never known an atmosphere to be good on a Sunday this must be one of the reasons.

Were you not there for the Man United game last season??

Lots of traffic on the roads Saturday at 5pm though... Eh?

Swings and roundabouts innit.

At least people can physically get to and from the game on time if they don't have access to a car though.

OK OK I get the point not everybody is hungover on a sunday, I don't drink so I understand that but that's not really my point is it?

it puts more pressure on the players playing on TV everyweek so No I would rather us not be on tv everyweek in this fairy tale season.

no I was in a pub in Chester going mental.

Oh no, it took 30 mins longer to drive home. Definitely comparable to being physically unable to get to the game.

How much benefit from that are you seeing as a matchgoing fan out of interest?

Well, actually the logic is in the convenience to matchgoing supporters. Like I say, Saturday 3pm is the best for train and bus times/organising it around other family commitments, stuff like that.

Plus, logic aside, and as others have said, 1.30pm Sunday is a bins kick-off time. No one ever seems up for it.

Saturday 3pm is best for YOU!

I prefer Sunday KOs, but I don't complain when they're on Saturdays. The reason being that at age 6 my Mum told me quite pointedly that I wasn't  the centre of the Universe, and that just because I want something to happen doesn't mean that everybody else has to revolve around what I want...

When do you hit 6? ;)

That's terrible. You should write to Sky giving them a list of times and dates that suit your bus timetable, and ask them to schedule all the games around that.

As countless people have said, it's not the moving per se, it's when it's been moved to.

At the end of the day, there's a reason Saturday 3pm has been deemed the most convenient kick-off time for decades. If games are going to be moved, they should be moved with travelling fans in mind. Sunday 1.30pm is absolute shithouse for everyone.

We all knew we'd be on TV for just about every game on the run in, so when would you have preferred to have the games?

Everyone moaned about the early Etihad Saturday kick off, no one likes MNF, so it was always going to be Sunday, yes public transport is the pits as my train from Sileby doesn't run , but I will be there. Ok I admit a couple at the later slot wouldn't have gone a miss but they're the dates, no point in getting stressed about it now.

At the start of the season one or two on here were moaning that we weren't on TV enough. We dodged a bullet then but success brings TV.

I'll bite at Larry_LCFC's comment too, I go to every game home and away, so far from an armchair fan,

Thanks, but I own a car. Not everybody has that luxury.

It's best for THE MAJORITY of football supporters, that's why the vast MAJORITY of football fixtures across the whole country are scheduled for that time. If it wasn't, the footballing authorities would schedule the MAJORITY of games for a different time - don't you agree?

I'm pretty sure he's not the only person in the country who has to use public transport to get to games...

My son has a ST and there is no way he can go to games on a Sunday.

This just got me thinking. What if you're an LCFC supporting Vicar?  These fixture changes would surely turn you into an atheist.

I think we have to accept that as STH and such actually attending the games, doesn't actually count for very much commercially.

The MAJORITY of supporters are not in the stadium, but watching on TV.

Without matchgoing supporters, Sky would not have a viable product to sell - so, yes, they do count for a lot commercially in my book.

Therefore they should be kept in mind when games are rearranged in terms of their ability, home and away, to get to and from matches which are televised.

Why can't the people rimming sky see MOST people are complaining about EVERY game been moved to Sunday. It should not be beyond sky to make sure teams on tv alot have a fair amount of Saturday games as well.

Not really. Saturday at 3pm became the standard because it was convenient for the majority... That is, all the factory workers when they finished their morning shift and had Saturdays off. That was over 100 years ago though.

That principle hasn't changed. It's still scheduled to suit the majority, but as someone else has said, that majority is now the TV viewers.

It's the same principle that you're arguing for and against... You agree with it when you are part of the majority (ie, it suited you); but you disagree with it when it doesn't suit you.

That's debatable. Football could still take place without paying spectators. Look at Monaco home games. True it would lose a lot of it's appeal, but if I wouldn't base your views on the fact that you think that the fans are irreplaceable.

lol I've read it all now. It's really good of you not complain about football being on its traditional day and time. Such a good person.

Fair enough, if you think people watching on tele deserve priority over people who actually invest time and money into following the club home and away then we'll have to leave it at that. I vehemently disagree, and I sincerely doubt I'm alone in holding that view - as plenty of anecdotal evidence from this thread indicates.

Oh, and by the way, having spent part of my life living a long way from Leicester and thus unable to get to many live games, I still felt those who could deserved better treatment than me although it meant I could catch games on TV down the pub. So if you could stop with the assumptions that anyone in this thread is angry purely because it inconveniences them personally in some way, that'd be grand.

I still don't understand why we can't pay someone a subscription for Saturday 3pm games .It's about time the rule changed. I can only hope that kodi gets better and better and sky will go bust .

Premier League Pass is good, has its problems especially when the servers get loaded but works well during the sky games

Do you go to Church on a Sunday? That was a tradition once to... Life changes you would be the first one to moan if we didn't sign anyone in the summer because we had no money. Swings and Roundabouts you cant moan about being on sky one day and then moan we haven't signed anyone on another!
