Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Moan, moan fvcking moan, this is only happening because we're going for the title and they rightly want to televise the contenders for the run in. The money they pump into the game I feel they have the right to pick the best to show.
Adster Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Sunday games are fine for me. You can't really call sky ***** just because the schedule doesn't suit YOU.
Brizzle Fox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Do you think if we absolutely implode over the next month or so and drop out of the title race that they'll move all the games back to Saturday at 3 pm? Just a thought...
theessexfox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Absolute wank, I play football on Sundays and when I bought a ST I didn't envisage 5 Sunday games in a row, surely some sort of quota system to protect matchgoing fans is necessary?
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Do you go to Church on a Sunday? That was a tradition once to... Life changes you would be the first one to moan if we didn't sign anyone in the summer because we had no money. Swings and Roundabouts you cant moan about being on sky one day and then moan we haven't signed anyone on another! What on earth are you on about? I don't go to church, but I also know that the tradition for church is Sunday. You are completely missing the point anyway. People are annoyed about moving 5 consecutive games to a shit kick off time, on a Sunday. Having games on Sky isn't an issue - mix it up and put it on at 17:30 or 12:30 on Saturday if they really must. Not change the day of every single game. It boils down to sky not giving two shits about the fans yet again, as long as they get their games.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It's not just Sunday, 3 13:30 KOs on Sunday. That is ****ing disgusting stuff that deserves imprisonment.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Sunday games are fine for me. You can't really call sky ***** just because the schedule doesn't suit YOU. I'm sure you'd be pissed off if they moved 5 games in a row to a time you couldn't make. But as long as you're OK, I guess that's all that matters.
davieG Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Moan, moan fvcking moan, this is only happening because we're going for the title and they rightly want to televise the contenders for the run in. The money they pump into the game I feel they have the right to pick the best to show. Having the right is one thing ensuring fair play is something else as said before my son is a ST holder who can't go to games on Sundays this means that he's lost out on 3 consecutive home games with no compensation, it defeats the whole purpose of having ST and means he will miss out on the team he has supported all his life for 30+ years going for the title as you put it.
adam Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It's a sad state of affairs when a TV company can dictate when a football match is .There must be a limit to how many games are allowed to be moved in a month.

Sky are obviously going to create 'super Sundays' that's what draws the crowds in! we are top people want to watch us!
Bayfox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 A few decent points on here, such as maybe $ky should over compensation to Season Ticket holders who can't attend games they have moved, a mate of mine works sundays as a deal that he gets saturdays off for example, he now has to change 3 weeks worth of shifts if even allowed, just to attend the home games. $ky should have to factor in public transport, so for an idea, the sunderland game, there should have to be a train arriving from Leicester at least one hour before the game and at least 1 train returning after the game, Newcastle have this problem I guess trying to get home from our place on a monday at 10. And last but not least. "if you're watching on the telly your a ****" Close Thread
leicesterseddon Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 I see the protest at Arsenal had a huge impact Do you mean the protest that barely happened because 99% of fans decided they didn't want to miss any of the game? That one?
leicesterseddon Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Sunday games are fine for me. You can't really call sky ***** just because the schedule doesn't suit YOU. It's not about the schedule. It's about the fact they set a schedule and then deviate from it without a care for the people who make prior plans to go.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 That's done our chances no favours at all. Getting ALL the stadium noisy and involved at Sunday lunchtimes is not going to be easy, and we do need that to happen. Top is going to have to get the free beers flowing from 10 am ffs Agree with this. Thoughts about lack of atmosphere were my immediate thoughts too
Guest Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 There's a lot of blatantly obvious wumming going on in this thread
Foxxed Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 How are Sky getting more money / benefiting from the reschedule?
StanSP Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It's not about the schedule. It's about the fact they set a schedule and then deviate from it without a care for the people who make prior plans to go. sky don't set the schedule from the beginning though

And Davie I genuinely feel for the plight of your son and others affected in that way! The modern day game, coverage and our amazing/unexpected form has lead to this turn of events not Sky having an agenda against Leicester City Football Club was my point. I genuinely hope your son and others affected in that way find a way to attend some at least?

You knew that before the ticket was bought I seriously don't see how anyone can complain McDonald's put Gerkins in burgers .....you know that before you order it , if you don't like Gerkins or can't eat them then go to KFC For 23 years sky has been moving games Ok it's been 7 years since the move them more and more but we still knew and are aware of that at the point of taking a season ticket

Yes the odd game being moved to Sunday but there's also times slots on Saturday and Monday they could have used to mix it up a bit so as not to affect just one group of people.

We are unhappy that they have moved all our games to Sunday. Not just 1 or 2 but 5 games straight. That is unjustifiable whatever corporate spin you try and put on it.

Nobody knew But no one is complaining how well we are doing My point is the fixture list at the beginning of a season is just a guide the still say 3pm Saturday because the majority of games are still at that time Obviously I sympathise with him missing games but honestly I hope city play on TV every weekend cos it will mean we are huge I think the club are flexible they allow season tickets to be reused and issue paper replacements for this process of needs be
