Cecchini1976 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 The games have been moved because we are challengers. I am also sure that when the fixture list is published they do say that fixtures can be changed. I am happy they are on tv as it means we are being successful
GaelicFox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 For the last bloody time, people aren't moaning about sky showing games! We are unhappy that they have moved all our games to Sunday. Not just 1 or 2 but 5 games straight. That is unjustifiable whatever corporate spin you try and put on it. We are top of the league baby ! The world wants a pukka pie Sunday means we are box office I hope we stay box office forever The games have been moved because we are challengers. I am also sure that when the fixture list is published they do say that fixtures can be changed. I am happy they are on tv as it means we are being successful BINGO
davieG Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Nobody knew But no one is complaining how well we are doing My point is the fixture list at the beginning of a season is just a guide the still say 3pm Saturday because the majority of games are still at that time Obviously I sympathise with him missing games but honestly I hope city play on TV every weekend cos it will mean we are huge I think the club are flexible they allow season tickets to be reused and issue paper replacements for this process of needs be No they don't. The fact that we are doing well makes it all the more frustrating, after paying for and watching what seems like decades of shite just as we are potentially going to achieve something great he's denied the opportunity of seeing not just one but 3 games on the trot. You carry on living in your selfish world as long as you're content why should you care in fact I'm not even sure what your interest is in this thread as it obviously has zero affect on you.

I am happy they are on tv as it means we are being successful A success now being denied thrice to some which could have been avoided to some extent by making use of the Saturday and Monday slots
Fox92 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Public transport is terrible on a Sunday. This is a problem... Was going to get the train to Manchester from Sheffield (like I did for Man City away) but there's no trains on that Sunday.
Fox92 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Sunday games are fine for me. You can't really call sky ***** just because the schedule doesn't suit YOU. Slight contradiction here? I can't believe some of the attitudes in this thread again. It happened when the Arsenal game was announced too.
Carl the Llama Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 I don't get the anger, a 1430 my time k/o means: Wake up at 1400; stay in bed while I turn on computer and find a stream; open the beer and crisps I left by the bed the previous evening; watch football. If we're playing at 1600 my time on a Saturday I tend to have to spend at least an hour or so out from under the covers so it's pretty selfish complaining about it just because you have to move back your plans to not spend the day in a warm bed.
Adster Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Slight contradiction here? I can't believe some of the attitudes in this thread again. It happened when the Arsenal game was announced too. Not really, they're two different points.I'm sorry if my comment offended on here but I think it's clear to see why views are mixed. It's purely based on whether you can make the game or not. People who now have to go out their way to reschedule their plans or those who can't make the game at all, will naturally get angry and object the change. However people who can still make the game naturally won't be all that bothered about it, just because they don't have to re-arrange stuff. I can fully understand both points of view - and perhaps my post was a bit hasty. However unfortunately this is something we're going to have to get used to if we're going to be challenging against the best.
sylofox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It would be so much better if we were a shite mid table nothing. Sell Vardy an Mahrez and sack CR job done. Who wants to win the fvckinv league anyway.

I can make either day but it's still taking the piss to move every single game in April, and all of them to a 1:30 Sunday kick off as well, probably the worst of all possible KO times.
foxfanazer Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Do you mean the protest that barely happened because 99% of fans decided they didn't want to miss any of the game? That one? Thats the one
smudger63 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Won't be a popular post but I still don't lay the blame on Sky, they are only exercising the power they were given. The Premier League is to blame, the ECB would never allow Sky to dictate Ashes dates, Wimbledon would never allow the BBC to tell them what day the matches are played on. No other sport sold itself to a TV channel like this one. They gave away everything for $$$ - they take all the blame for me They would, the ECB has already sold it`s soul totally to sky, but i do know what you mean though.
Merging Cultures Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 When are the double game weeks for Fantasy?!
C-man Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Obviously some people on here believe that people shouldn't plan anything in advance until Sky get their act together and pick TV games. Those people must have very boring lives.

Max Power Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Couldn't they have mixed it up a bit? Have a couple Saturday tea time games or something. Five straight Sundays is a bit odd.
Number 6 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 This will be standard when champs league games come around but given that it wasn't forced here it is a bit annoying. Yes part of the price of success but some sort of quota system needs introducing.
ousefox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Sunday trains are a joke from York - Leicester. Going to have to drive each one Anybody that wants a lift from York or on the way PM me
promised land Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It's really good of you not complain about football being on its traditional day and time. Do you moan about Boxing Day matches as traditionally the game was played on Christmas Day up until late 50's, early 60's? I bet you sit there with a face like a smacked arse all game don't you eh? One or two on here need to grow up a bit. There wasn't this much uproar when we were playing Thursday, Friday nights in the championship.
Voll Blau Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 No not really. I can make either day but it's still taking the piss to move every single game in April, and all of them to a 1:30 Sunday kick off as well, probably the worst of all possible KO times. Same for me.
ScouseFox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 i can probably do sundays better than saturdays so might benefit. still don't enjoy sundays as much though, especially earlies. was hoping for a few more monday nights personally (can't wait til friday night is an option, they're boss) or maybe a saturday evening. saturday/sunday lunchtimes are the worst for the atmosphere but what you gonna do. i'd rather us be top of the league and playing on a sunday than in the championship playing at 3pm
filbertway Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 As an actual match going fan it must be annoying. For me I'm pretty happy with it as I can watch Coalville on a Saturday then Leicester on the sunday. However, it comes with the turf. If we get into Europe we will play a whole lot more Sunday games. This looks like the only route that seems to be available via public transport according to google https://goo.gl/maps/QsXp6deZ44y Out of 3000 fans, how many would take public transport?
