How is this season affecting your life ?

That 5 AM MT match a few weeks ago was a major pain.  I thought "I can record it, but then I won't be able to follow the forums in real time!"  So, up at 4:50, watched the match live, followed the forums, was a bit tired but happy.

I'm up an hour before you and yes it's worth it......me and my 13yr old......lovely time to be a Leicester fan. Fun walking into the pub too to shouts of LESTER. Converted a pub less a few over to Leicester this year

I became so obsessed that I started posting on this sodding forum... I'd just glanced at it from a distance for the last few years, but, recently I felt compelled to come on here and enthrall you all with my thoughts and opinions... Enjoy the ride foxestalk!

Usually way to busy to get too involved too deeply into any recreational stuff. Especially football. (Bit plastic I s'pose, not by choice though).

But never before have I watched so much opposition football which doesn't involve us.

Got fúckall done for a few months but lovin it.  :D

I still keep forgetting its the Prem we are talking about,

Long are the memories of championship glories!!

Onto pastures new and long may it continue,

I have even been threatened with divorce over my continued footy obsessed weekends and celebration piss ups!!!!

Oh and I also don't think I've looked at the Premier League table as much as I have done these last few months!

SSN are currently doing a report on the fan who cashed out at £29K!

I left her in lingerie in bed last Saturday night to watch match of the day highlights

You are obvs a stud. Many of us could be finished and back downstairs during the opening credits and sat in front of the telly before the footage of Chelsea lifting the trophy and Gary appearing to greet the audience with a big smirk on his gob ('cos we won. Again.)

[MOTD theme]:

Duh duh duh Derrr da-duh-duh-duh-duh.

Duh Derrr da-duh-duh-d'AAAAAAARRRRGH!

[squelch]

"Cheers love, that was great. Give yourself a cuddle, would you? I'm off"

[Lineker] "Hello and welcome to another packed programme of Premier League action..."

Job's a goodun.

Call me mad but I want it to be over now. I can't hack not knowing if we'll win the league.

Crazy talk.  The only thing I don't know is which of Spurs, Arsenal and Man City will end up taking 2nd place.

I keep the fact I support Leicester to myself these days as I am bored of having the same conversations over and over again with people who already know.

I struggle to take it in to be honest, the thought of winning the premier league won't even compute still, I'm still getting over the fact we are more than likely in the champions league and tbh the realisation that we are in Europe full stop didn't sink in much before that. it doesn't really affect me at work unless we've played the day before or are playing that night, I have got into a bad habit of getting absolutely wankered and getting carried away for a few hours after every game we win before realisation that nothing is won yet sets back in. It's just crazy, absolutely mad, the thing that makes it that bit more crazy is that it's deserved. We've had a few handy decisions go our way but no more than some other teams around us and the performances against city and Chelsea for example have just left my jaw on the floor. This put simply just does not happen to us, yet it is happening to us, and bar a collapse of epic proportions, and maybe even inspite of a massive collapse of epic proportions, we've got champions league football, I'd never thought I'd see that, ever. That will be enough for me this not just this season but pretty much ever if we get into the groups. And as I've said before on here, if we win the league I just out and out worry for my health and I am literally half genuine with that.

Having said that certain things still annoy me having scraped around for cash to watch a us stink up the premier and the championship for years I now have a large desposible income to watch us win the league and I can hardly ever go because I've got two young children a football team of my own to run the next day and even when I have time to go getting a ticket is a proper mission....small price to pay I guess!

This is probably the closest thing I've read to how I feel about it.

As I've said before I am simultaneously obsessed and totally disengaged with it.

For the past two nights I've dreamt about Leicester!

The first night I read we'd beaten Watford 1-0 but when I went to watch MOTD we lost 2-1!! Last night we beat Spurs 4-2 to clinch the title!

Strange that it's games which have already happened this season but I never usually dream about the footy so it's obviously taking it's toll on me!!

Same here. I`v had a couple of dreams recently. The first one was 3 or 4 weeks ago and we are 5 points clear at the top with 3 games to go. The second one was on Sunday.... I was looking at a result and it was a 0-1 away win for Newcastle but i`m not sure who the home team were....It wasnt Leicester, I think it could have been Carlisle utd.

Yes - this obsession is exhausting. The constant attention to the tinyest football details. I want to experience as much of this season as possible. I want to drink everything in.

Being treated like a celebrity. Everyone that knows me asks me why we're doing so well, and I always say we have just become more clinical in our game this season. Even last season we rarely got outplayed but we've put the result behind the performance this season.

I genuinely think I won't realise what we've done until we have a bad spell again. No team in the history of the Premier League has done this. You can argue Blackburn but they did it with a huge budget in those days with compared to other teams. This will be the greatest achievement in the history of PL football. Especially considering the great escape last season. Incredible.

I am really struggling to cope and am on edge all the time, while i am loving this i wouldn't say its excitement i feel.

I must look at the league 10+ times a day as well as the remaining fixtures and the other threes remaining fixtures trying to work out what will happen and if i have missed anything.

Two hours before i get picked up to go to matches i am dressed an ready and pace around to the point where it pisses the wife off.

i do play it calm tho when work colleagues (baggies fans) say 'hey you are gonna win the league' i reply that i would be delighted with third. Would i f€&k now we are where we are i want this more than anything.

Stress levels through the roof. I'm a complete nervous wreck. I live and work in Long Eaton, and I can say the florist fans are twitching about our season, but not as much as me. Part of me just wants it to be over, but another part just wants to continue to enjoy the ride.............. a very mixed bag of emotions lol.

I seemed to have upset many people on Facebook going on about it.

I've been annoying people on facebook, i have a lot of mates who are Forest fans. I'm absolutely loving it!

i did have a horrible dream a few nights back though. i dreamt that we won the league, with a game to spare, but the day before the Chelsea game, the owners were arrested for money laundering, the club went into administration and were docked 10 points, finishing in 8th place, losing out on Europe all together!

i guess i've had too many bad experiences as a City fan in previous years, my mind wont allow me to enjoy the moment just yet!
