How is this season affecting your life ?

I'm honestly always stressed and footy obsessed, I've always been city obsessed but this is a new level I sit and study tables and articles everyday, my mrs is doing her nut, I left her in lingerie in bed last Saturday night to watch match of the day highlights this was after I'd made her sit and watch a full 90 mins of watford and accidentally chinned her during my celebration

I think I might apply for mitigating circumstances at uni for euphoria and stress

Is anybody else struggling

P.s I wouldn't change a bloody thing I'm in dreamland

I'm unquestionably happier day to day. Don't think anyone wants this season to end; okay the lure of Champions League football is enticing, but christ i'm almost scared at what we can achieve this year and next and the years in the future.

Where I could find prior sadness in the team, spirit, tactics whatever before; now the only thing that keeps me down is knowing there will be some Leicester fans that have seen it all pass away without knowing how this season ends - being in reach of winning the Premier League and Champions League football.

I think the point where I realised it had taken over was when someone mentioned the Charity Shield the other day and I was genuinely excited about what is essentially a Pre-Season kickabout.. because.. Wembley.

For the past two nights I've dreamt about Leicester!

The first night I read we'd beaten Watford 1-0 but when I went to watch MOTD we lost 2-1!! Last night we beat Spurs 4-2 to clinch the title!

Strange that it's games which have already happened this season but I never usually dream about the footy so it's obviously taking it's toll on me!!

At  the moment I  am pretty chilled, but then we are 5 points clear, after losing to Arsenal and with Spurs closing in I got pretty stressed out these last few weeks squeaking past Norwich, dropping points to West Brom, Super Wednesday helped with Spurs and Arsenal losing and last Saturday has put me at ease.

I'm just chilling because what will be will be!

And the fact that we have had an awesome season 1st 2nd or 3rd Would be amazing for an absolutely superb season which not many of us thought we would be challenging for the title but if we do win the title that would be the stuff off dreams and be the best thing to happen to our wonderful club!

I'm so proud of this team and Claudio and it's a change to be the brunt of Baggies or Villa fans like last season but be able to hold our heads up high and say yes we follow Leicester city and we have played absolutely FOOKING Awesome this season !!

Can't beat the original post.......absolute classic post but for me yes it's getting to me. I had a so real dream the other night of us being up 1-0 going into the second half v Chelsea. 2nd half Kante was at the top of the 18 on the right side, edged the ball through to Okazaki and into the bottom left it went to make it 2-0. I jumped out of bed but couldn't get back to sleep and finish the dream off.

Such a vivid amazing dream but still have this fantastic real dream.......just want it to continue

I have my friends kids tell me all about the Leicester City game the next day. This is chuffin American, for goodness sake. The bible belt at that!

I feel you brother, the best thing is it's such a unique experience for us, united Chelsea fans ect surley don't get this buzz anymore, the only time they would is when they're on a treble or something and even then I don't think it would come close to this

I have got my routine I follow for every game... I need to do this, but if we actually win the league I will die a happy man...a contented man, all the fallow years would be worth it... I think   I / we deserve it...

I just get a smile on my face every few minutes, thinking about 'Leicester City, 60 points, 16 wins (most), 3 losses (least), 5 points clear'.  I tear up a bit and throw my fists in the air every time I see the table on NBCSN's EPL coverage.

I only regularly interact with two people who know anything about English football, so I can't talk about it very often.

And the weekday afternoon (in the US) matches play merry hell with my work productivity, as I have to be streaming the match (sometimes in the background).

I wouldn't trade this season for anything!

I feel more stress than last season, at least last season I figured we'd lose somehow every game and thought we were doomed. Now I get some almighty diarrhea before matches.

The entire afternoon on Saturday, I just kept pumping my fist as I was driving in the car, then when I got home and was walking around, I strutted with pride and kept randomly audibling "Yes!" to myself, and I've smiled like I've never smiled before. This is just something else.

Work productivity is taking a serious hit tbf so could do with season ending pretty pronto.

This. Big time.

I should be making appointments and meeting prospects, but I'm just too distracted with the entire worlds attention on City this season..

That 5 AM MT match a few weeks ago was a major pain.  I thought "I can record it, but then I won't be able to follow the forums in real time!"  So, up at 4:50, watched the match live, followed the forums, was a bit tired but happy.

I keep the fact I support Leicester to myself these days as I am bored of having the same conversations over and over again with people who already know.

I struggle to take it in to be honest, the thought of winning the premier league won't even compute still, I'm still getting over the fact we are more than likely in the champions league and tbh the realisation that we are in Europe full stop didn't sink in much before that. it doesn't really affect me at work unless we've played the day before or are playing that night, I have got into a bad habit of getting absolutely wankered and getting carried away for a few hours after every game we win before realisation that nothing is won yet sets back in. It's just crazy, absolutely mad, the thing that makes it that bit more crazy is that it's deserved. We've had a few handy decisions go our way but no more than some other teams around us and the performances against city and Chelsea for example have just left my jaw on the floor. This put simply just does not happen to us, yet it is happening to us, and bar a collapse of epic proportions, and maybe even inspite of a massive collapse of epic proportions, we've got champions league football, I'd never thought I'd see that, ever. That will be enough for me this not just this season but pretty much ever if we get into the groups. And as I've said before on here, if we win the league I just out and out worry for my health and I am literally half genuine with that.

Having said that certain things still annoy me having scraped around for cash to watch a us stink up the premier and the championship for years I now have a large desposible income to watch us win the league and I can hardly ever go because I've got two young children a football team of my own to run the next day and even when I have time to go getting a ticket is a proper mission....small price to pay I guess!
